From what you have made, do you have any favorite enemies either in combat or other? What about main characters?

Do you mean our own characters and among them, the ones we prefer?

My all-time fav chara of mine is Rayanne from Asguaard, and the enemy, hmmm, that would have to be the Grand Commendanter in Laxius Force III.

Dorian in Zendir 1, but not combat-wise. That would be Dalnaycus. In Zendir 2, I suppose a fun character is Hudu, you learn a lot about his actual personality, a mean, lean, business-like but depraved man :p

Of my original characters, I'm a HUGE fan of Diego, Ellaglas, and yes, Xenos.  The first two come from one story, Xenos comes from a totally different story, but has become sort of "My Guy," as it were.  Thinly veiled self-insertion comes to mind. ;)  Anyway, Diego is a sword/sorc kind of character, with a history of womanizing, alcohol, and gambling.  He straightens up and flies right though, after meeting a special someone. She helps him change his evil ways.  Ellalgas is an archer.  Long range attacks, deadly accuracy, and a sharp wit.  He's sort of the foil to Diego (who's also got the wit-they get into it quite often), being the more level-headed of the two.  Xenos is a brawler.  He's missing two fingers, has a scar over his left eye, and is currently (at the point in his story I'm at) recovering from six broken ribs.  He's a (recovering) drug addict, an alcoholic, and someone who buries himself in his job.  He's dating a stripper (that bit's not at all like me-I'm married, and no, she's not a stripper), and is stuck in a totalitarian government.

As far as enemies...  I'm going to have to say the "GIANTF'NWAPS" just because they're so FUN.  Also the "Obligatory Slime," because who doesn't like a ball of goo?

I have 7 main characters are all of them are kind of funny in their own ways to me. But my favorite one of them to write is a paladin named Endrick; originally designed as a "fantasy version of Butters from South Park. In a game full of less-than-admirable characters, he's really the only one of the main characters would can be considered "lawful good."

Antagonist

A couple hours into my game you get introduced to an antagonist named Grendell. At the time I was making his introductory scene, I had an idea what I wanted to do, but I didn't know exactly how large a part Grendell would play in the overall story. Would he be a henchman? Lieutenant? Comic relief? Final boss?

When I finished his introductory scene, I knew I found "my Kefka" and I never looked back.

Well, I've never really completed a game, so I don't really have any "complete" characters or enemies...not really.

BUT...one of the first characters that comes to mind is Alisha.

She's from my very first RPG, in RPG Maker (PS1).

She started out as a half-vampire witch or something, she was kind of a ripoff of Marivel from Wild ARMs 2. But, for some reason, whenever I decided to try drawing all the characters from that game, I never liked drawing...her clothes. I was bad at drawing robes and witch hats! So she was often nude, just 'cuz. That's probably what led me to make her a succubus. But, she's kinda half-vampire half-succubus, I guess. And she doesn't wear clothes. And she hates men. And...she's a lesbian. She even makes advances on the fairy girl. She also has some kind of hair powers, using her hair as wings, weapons, and taking shape of some kind of large monster mount. She's a really random somewhat ridiculous character, but that's what makes her so fun.

Some other heroes of mine that I'm particular fond of...a dwarf, from the same game as Alisha. There's nothing really outlandish about him, he's just a mainly bearded, armored, axe-wielding dwarf. But that's why I like him I guess. When I think of "crossovers" with my own characters, he's usually one of my first choices. Also, a character named Pumpkin, from a different game...idea. She's never been in an actual project at all, but she was one of those characters that was always fun to draw. She's almost as ridiculous as Alisha though.

There's also my pseudo-mascot characters, Lucent, and Bogi. But I'm not gonna say anything about them yet...

As for enemies...hmmm. Drawing a blank here...I've only ever used my own art for enemies in 2 projects, out of all this time...One enemy I like is called a Tiger Ball. Picture a Rabite from the Mana games, but with tiger features!

As for antagonists, let's go with one that's actually in a project, let's see...I don't know if I've ever even done that! Sheesh!

Okay, here's one from one of my ideas, well the game he was to appear in is started, but there's not much there. He's an alien from another world. He's captured several humans, without leaving a trace, or even with demands. Why did he capture them? Because his world is on the brink of destruction, and he needs the best minds from your party's home planet to save it! Well, it's actually a big gamble, because his technology is more advanced, but it's...different. Different resources, different climate, different goals...it all points to a solution. After you defeat him, you discover a solution, and even offer to help. He accepts, but declares he will help your planet, because you help his, and he owes you. He has drastic methods, but he never KILLED anyone, so...he basically accepts some extreme "community service" for his efforts. He still messed some things up, separating families and such, but he's not EVIL. Still an antagonist to you.

Then again, I never fully decided his entire story. No name either, like the main cast of that game. It was supposed to be a simpler project too.

Dahlia from Oneirophrenia. She will wreck you. (she's lovely really though).

I also just like Dorian from my game too, because he's just a somebody caught up in some really messed up stuff, he can't defend himself particularly well, has a pretty dark backstory (OR DOES HE), and will die a whole, whole lot. He has 5MHP, bahahaha. (everything in the game that can hurt you save for ridick stuff takes off 1 at a time. If you ain't sneaky you gon' be dead. Luckily Dorian's a little bit crafty and can strangle enemies that don't see him, make molotovs and use them, vault over smaller walls and is particularly good at sneaking~) Yeah Dory's MA MAN.

My favourite character I've made is Casia (well, duh). Her personality and backstory are not THAT special, but I loved creating a game around her. Other favourites of mine who appear in Casia (the game) would have to be Viviana (an overly adventurous and gullibe girl) and Sister Lidy (a nun with determination).

As for antagonists, my best ones are Quros and Elf. Quros actually has an interesting motive behind his evil deeds and Elf is just awesome personality-wise.

One of my favorite characters has to be Ralisa from Ruby Chronicles, I'm just completely smitten by her. Not to mention she's the favorite of the ones who have played the game (She's mine! lol joking :p )

As for a villain, hmmm... I'd have to say Judaped Crackman from Esper Wing Chronicle 2, the constantly drugged up madman who is hilariously crazy and is actually more calculating than what he let's on.

My favourite character from my own game's gotta be Roth, the main character. Often has a witty attitude, but can also be mean to the people in the world, doing funny things to them. Wielding the powers of lightning makes him even more awesome. All in all, I really do like all of my game's characters, but Roth's just that cool.

Favourite enemy from my own game would be a tough choice. I have plenty of enemies I like... but if I had to go with one it would probably be Captain Nuts, who is a mini-boss in one of my dungeons. I like his sprite, and he can be a fair challenge to an unprepared player.

Favourite enemy: Chenim from Mystic Voyage

A large golem.  He's new to the world after being recently animated by the antagonist.  He has a huge thirst for knowledge and will readily ask any questions about things he doesn't know about.  Obviously fighting for the wrong side, he speaks very politely and apologizes to the protagonists for any pain he's about to inflict upon them.  Despite is large, bulky size, he prefers to fight with magic as it's faster to use during battle, but he can deliver incredibly powerful punches if anyone gets close to him.  He's normally seen along side Minx, an emotionless yet extremely sadistic faerie, and Dustin, a former friend of the main character.

Favourite character: Phanoire from Mystic Voyage

A feraline that repaired the Mystic Voyage before joining the heroes.  Feralines are a tiger-looking race found all throughout the southern provinces of the human region and dominates the central continent.  While not as agile, they're typically larger and stronger than humans.  Phanoire's the tank of the group, able to withstand blows more easily and fights with a large battleaxe.  She's quite shy and isn't quite used to the behaviour of the other team members.  Very self-conscious, she tends to get very conflicting thoughts about certain issues, leaving her annoyed and confused.  I have tendency to torment her, usually by making her the butt end of most jokes.  I might also have a thing for catgirls.

Out of the countless characters I've created, my favorite two characters would have to be Sasha & Andrea from my current game.

Sasha is really snarky (but not overly), optimistic, and friendly to the point where I wish she was actually real! And Andrea is

really fun to create stuff for, since she has to convey her personality through physical actions since she can't speak.

As far as favorite villains go, Malva from a previous game is my favorite. She's basically Kefka and Bowser combined,

in which she's really funny and comical but is still a dangerous threat. A wish I could go on, but it's kinda hard seeing as

I never told you guys about the game. There's also a few more, but again, I haven't said anything about the games.

I love all my characters, though. They're like my children, y'know? ;)

Something tells me 70% of the people here misunderstood the OP.

From what you have made,
Derp.

Anyways, someone I know is obsessed with my Stephanie sprite from the character generator. He keeps asking me if Stephanie can OHKO everything in my game. I like her as well, being kind of an anime cliche bodyguard for a princess, especially with the eye patch, lol.

My favorite character of mine would have to be the king in the first opening scene. Maybe it's because I thought him up years and years ago and now actually have a chance to put him into something. And since I don't have any artistic ability or other means to get custom art, I've made do with resources found on various sites. I really like the ones I'm set on, they're actually working out. He's not the main character but has plenty of emotions and such...life, I guess you could say. It's a shame that he doesn't last longer in the game.

Tough call for me, between Xear who's the main protagonist/villain of Butterfly Chronicles: Palemoon, and Edgar Trivelle from Tears of Samsara. Both characters are complete opposites of each other; Xear being a mute, (like Ryu from Breath of Fire or Isaac/Felix from Golden Sun) although he's quite a jerk at first who prefers to be left alone.

Edgar on the other hand is a really nice person, who's best friend to the main protagonist who always tries to make best of whatever situation he and his friends are in~

Others of mine I like:

Soma Osfeldt - Sarcastic, lazy, rude, and has trouble remembering stuff. (He's a fantasy version of myself, with much better hair~ xD)

Jastef Margueriff - The main villain of Tears of Samsara, who I based off of Kefka Palazzo. He's whiny, uncaring, manipulative, and bat **** insane! o-o

Viper - She's part cat, doesn't wear much clothing, and wears an eyepatch...bad kitty~   ;)

Good guy is Instructor Driller and he is the bad guy in Revenge of the Blaggots.

He is a drill instructor who can barely talk, troops makes fun of him and he flips his lid.

From other peoples games: Baby eating ogre from usatt and Petula from yanth.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
