what do you mean by that? too difficult? too much going on?I tried it once, but it wasn't for me.
oh wow, you played back at launch if it was 10 years ago. the game has changed a whole hell of a lot since then, plus it's free now. i guess it's understandable, especially since the game is so much more complicated now and has a massive learning curve (still my favorite game of all time though)Geez, it was like 10 years ago. I'm not sure I even remember. I *think* (and keep in mind here I'm trying to remember a one-time experience a long long time ago) to get the full experience I had to play with strangers, because at that point my group of gaming friends was too small. I never like being forced to play with strangers. Trying to play with 3 or 4 people wasn't enjoyable because there weren't enough people to fill the roles, I think.
the game is very, VERY different now than it was at launch. you should take a look again if you want to, it's free to play nowI remember playing it back in 2008 or so, when a few friends convinced me to get it so we could play together. I've never been much of a fan of first-person shooters, but Team Fortress 2 was pretty fun for a while.
TF2 is free, at least give it a shot...Sorry, dude. I'm playing CSGO.
the matchmaking has actually been improved a whole lot since meat vs match came out. come back and see the new UI sometime - once queued for a match you can access everything else, inventory, loadouts, etc. and even join community servers while you wait to be matched into a game. you should definitely give the game another shot; a lot of new content has been added.I used to play TF2 almost religiously. Started around 4 months before the whole gun skins update and I loved it back then. It was only around the whole matchmaking scenario that got me to quit and move on to Overwatch. Gotta be honest though, my experience in Overwatch is being affected by the large amount of toxicity in that game.
it is the same in TF2, especially with the new matchmaking system: hundreds of new accounts that just installed the game, and are matched with people who have years of experience.my experience in Overwatch is being affected by the large amount of toxicity in that game.
That is good to hear. For now, though I will hold off until I feel ready to return. Plus I just got Dead Space for free and I really want to try it.the matchmaking has actually been improved a whole lot since meat vs match came out. come back and see the new UI sometime - once queued for a match you can access everything else, inventory, loadouts, etc. and even join community servers while you wait to be matched into a game. you should definitely give the game another shot; a lot of new content has been added.
