Does anyone know if there`s a script or plugin for an Earthbound/ Mother 3 -like Battle System?

When I was thinking about the two standard battle systems included within RMMV gave me the idea to use a battle system similar to the one used in the Mother Series :kaopride:, but when I started looking around online to find one there were only ones made for VX or VX-ACE and since those two do not use JavaScript (at least as far as I know) I don`t think I can use them.:kaoeh:

Does anyone know of a plugin or script of some sort that could be used to give the front view battles an Earthbound-like feel?
Thanks already,
flakey!:VXA2:

Could you explain what this request includes, for those that haven't played the Earthbound games?

Here`s a link to a Youtube Video showing the battle system! Sorry, I forgot to add the link:kaoback:

To just see the battle skip to 0:56
To see ho the level up works skip to 3:21:kaohi:

The request would include the layout, little heads, HP and PP Counter :kaopride:

The video is nice, but what components of the battle system are you requesting?

Generally, battle systems are complex with many different components, unless somebody already wrote a single plugin, you need to mix various plugins together to get the effects you want.

For example, I see a lot of components in the video like Command Icons in the Menu, Animated Menu Cursor, and Rolling HP values.
Those are some suggestions of plugins for those components, but you'll have to test to make sure there aren't compatibility or other issues with it.

One thing we always ask is for requests to describe in detail what they want from the battle system. This is so that we can make sure that the way they interpret how the system works is the same as the way someone who makes it interprets how it works. Believe it or not, this was an issue with requests on FFX like battle systems, as the way some interpreted how it worked wasn't the same as the coder did, hence why request you list it out in detail, not just link to a video.

Sorry for being unspecific :/
The rolling HP Values (going down continuingly) , Command Icons by the Options, Menu Layout (though I think I should be able to change that with some Battle Core Stuff) and Character specific Heads by the HP values were the things I was looking for. Again, sorry that I didn`t write it out properly.

Thanks for clarifying the way I should formulate it, I`lll try my best and remember it :)

For the rolling HP values and command icons, try the links I put earlier, hopefully that helps.
For rearranging the battle menu windows, you could try the Battle GUI Core by SRD, it might work for that.

When you thought you'd be finished with the grid, and spend ~8-9 hours on an arrow. How is this more difficult to than player movement?

Still some bugs hiding in there, but it's nearly complete.

I'm having it strictly follow the path a user draws, because there will be booby trap and other similar mechanics where you want to avoid specific cells.
I feel like banging my head against a wall every time I want to find that post that shows all the plugin header codes. Then I think "next time I find it, I'm going to bookmark it". Then I think "wait a minute ... maybe I bookmarked it last time because it took me so long to find it". Check bookmarks, and there it is :)
... a few of my main characters standing around doing nothing lol. I mostly wanted to see them together on screen.
