Around here there is a big push to ban everthing halloween related, under this "arguments"

-It's a foreign celebration (as foreign as christmas)

-it's dangerous for children to go out at night (ok)

-It's unhealthy to eat much candy (well it could be)

-it's a satanic celebration (rolls eyes)

We actually had a little Halloween event at the store where I work yesterday. Kids came in costume and were given a little bag and a map which led to little booths around the store. At each booth, an employee gave out goodies like candy, little toys and stickers. The employees working the booths got to wear costumes, too, though no one did anything elaborate or scary. Most just went with a funny hat. The guy who runs the contract phone kiosk was bummed that he forgot it was yesterday, because he was hoping to wear one of his cosplay costumes.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
