Does Enigmabox comply with the encryption requirement for resources TOS?

Next week, I'm kicking my game out the door. Since I'm using almost all bought resources, I'm under the impression that I HAVE to encrypt the files. Since I still have no idea how to use the default encryption(What do I put in the encryption key box?), I'll use Enigmabox, which I have figured out. Does using Enigma Virtual Box comply with that requirement, or do I have to use Enigma Protector as well(the demo version anyway)?

The encryption key is just like a password. You put in whatever you want.

Question, can I encrypt the files, then use enigmabox to make a launcher?

I'd like to mention that default encryption in MV is weak, there are many tools that can decrypt resources in our games so best option would be to find other tools to encrypt files.

I can't recommend any since every kind of protection can be broken.

So far by my experience is using enigma virtual box and virtualize only fragile files (folders: data, js, font)

In the main window put your files, on top specify output file name and press build

To answer your question, yes. But keep in mind, both Enigma virtualbox and MV's encryption are weak. Enigma causes memory leaks on top of that, so I'd recommend what Soulrender said to minimize memory leaks.

Not exactly answering the topic, the folks above have already done so, but here are my fifty cents: I don't recommend that you worry too much about it. The more complicated - and more secure - the encoding, the longer the game will take to decode and read files whenever it needs them, which slows down their performance.

I would use RPG Maker's own default encoding, but only if you use DLC resources whose license requires you to hide them. You will have done your part, but the truth is, if someone really wants to turn a game inside out, they will do it. :kaoswt:

Question for Enigma Virtual Box, it can be used to package commercial games, yes?
