does RPG Maker support layer system?

I mean, can we create layer when drawing Map, ie:

layer 0 for floor

layer 1 for wall,

layer 2 for chair, table.

layer 3 for carpet

layer 4 for window

layer 5 for flower, etc...

so, if we want change floor tile, just edit the floor layer so we not destroying another tile like chair, table, carpet etc

No.  That system hasn't been used since RMXP.

so RPGMaker team won't support it anymore in future?

Layer system is good for editing the map.

how you edit you map, are you create and edit it in another software like photoshop?

You can. That's called parallax mapping, but it takes much longer than mapping in the editor.

imo removing control over the layers was a step backward - I much prefer the XP method.  I don't know what the RPG Maker team will or won't support in the future.  I wish they'd go back to it.

yes and no

there is no manual layering, but there is an automatic layering - everything on the A-Tab of the tileset goes into bottom layer, and everything on the B-E-Tabs goes into one (XP to Ace) or two (MV) upper layers.

In case of MV, you can't select which upper layer, the layer selection is again automatic based on if the first upper layer is already filled, the second one is used.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD

Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
