Dollarman: Land of Tellia
What is it?
A 2,5 dimensional game about a sword competent man with a tophat and a special boy who uses a bow as weapon of choice.
The two heroes has 5 days to stop the evil Xulsar before he finishes his mega-cannon which will destroy all of Tellia.
Features turn-based, sideview battle system, just so that is said.
There will be an open overworld and a main town (Tellia Town) to explore.
There will also be a total of 4 Dungeons, where you'll gain items that unlocks new
places to explore in the overworld and also an item you'll need to enter Xulsar's Lair (which would be the 5th Dungeon, perhaps?).
The main feature will be Time Traveling.
Once you obtain the item which sends you back in time, everything will be reset back to the way
they were the first time you entered Tellia Town.
Traveling back in time will be important to help different people and solve puzzles at different days.
I have also added a cutscene for when/if you run out of time, where Xulsar fires his cannon and starts
his destruction.
At the moment, the main idea is that you need to collect items from Dungeons and rewards from people
when you help them in order to gain the item that makes you able to enter Xulsar's Lair.
This game will also contain a custom soundtrack, with the exceptions of sound effects.
An invisibility ring might also be implemented, which will unlock a lot of potential. (sneaking up on people to hear them talking to themselves etc.).
Already at this stage in development, I can tell that the game will be very filled with details and thoroughly game-tested for a solid experience.
Not sure what else to add right now, but take a look at the screenshots to get a better idea of what I'm making.
