"Don't Care" naming option

So, in the game Earthbound, when you start up a new game, you name all your characters. In the corner of the name entry screen, there is a button labelled "Don't Care" that will pick a random name from a list for that character, as seen here: http://strategywiki.org/wiki/EarthBound/Getting_Started I like this button because I'm an impatient gamer. I want to get to the game as fast as possible, but I don't want every single character to just be named "A" because it's faster. For my game, characters are named as they're introduced in the story. While the default names show up normally without any scripts, I would like the option to give characters more than one default name, so if a player doesn't like the first default name, they could quickly just choose another one and continue with the story.

While admittedly a script would make this much easier, if this request doesn't get filled, you could event this.

That's how I'd do it.  Easy for the designer, very clear for the player.
