Meee, it's an awesome time sink of a game, and your avatar looks like the main character.

It's a more advanced, more "realistic" version (barring the walking trees and demons at the night as compared to Zombies and floating black creatures that come from hell, also Pigmen) of Minecraft. With that, though, it's a lot more challenging, considering that it actually takes longer to chop down trees and get all the resources you need. I feel like with Minecraft, they give you too much wood from a single tree.

Avatar is Wilson fanart : D

IT IS. 300 hours on steam. IDK how long on standalone.

The gameplay mechanics have begun to drag on me, as well as the current state of affairs development-side. But the on the side storyline is pulling me in.

I may make a Don't Starve fangame before long :3

I like Haven & Hearth better than Don't Starve. It's WAY more hardcore, and it's online (and free). But that's off topic.

I kind of know Don't Starve. For some time I was following a let's play, until I got bored.

But anyway, I'm not compatible with time-sinkers,

You almost had me, except it's online.
xD, yeah well, it's a little experimental. The thing is an attempt at making a game that evolved by players actions. Not even the creators have any idea of what it is going to become. Bad thing is that you get constantly trolled when you're starting. Then you realize hundreds of things, and learn a zillion more, and then it starts to be more fair, but boring at the same time (IDK, maybe the thrill was a nice thing to have, the only game/place where I enjoyed the risk of being robbed!).

Anyway, back to topic, from which I know not that much so I'll stop here,

im just now finally going to get some Thucelite weapons and armor!  i made my base as i like it and have focused on Ruins diving and killing that damn Boss Rhino before he kills me this time heh hehe

im bringing some gunpowder with me next time, and then i can get my first Houndius Shootus with his horn and my Deerclops eye

great game, but after a while its all the same, the best thing is the randomized world creation system, sometimes you get some neat interesting worlds

also alot of great modders make the game alot more fun imho

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
