introduction: my first rpg its a doom fan game made using rpgmaker xp and first person labyrinth explorer
Genre: science fiction and horror
Engine: RMXP, and FPLE : First Person Labyrinth Explorer and a hell of a lot of doom sprites
Concept
this is a horror rpg you will switch between top down view and first person view
Story
The player takes the role of an unnamed space marine who has been punitively posted to Mars after assaulting his commanding officer, who ordered his unit to fire upon civilians. The Martian space marine base acts as security for the Union Aerospace Corporation, a multi-planetary conglomerate, which is performing secret experiments with teleportation by creating gateways between the two moons of Mars, Phobos and Deimos. The manual makes it clear that Phobos is considered by space marines to be the dullest assignment imaginable: "with no action for fifty million miles, your day consisted of suckin' dust and watchin' restricted flicks in the rec room." This all changes when the UAC experiments go horribly wrong. Computer systems on Phobos malfunction, Deimos disappears entirely, and "something fragging evil" starts pouring out of the gateway, killing or possessing all UAC personnel. Responding to a frantic distress call from the overrun scientists, the Martian marine unit is quickly sent to Phobos to investigate, where the player character is left to guard the hangar with only a pistol while the rest of the group proceeds inside. Over the course of the next couple of hours, the marine hears assorted garbled radio messages, gunfire, and screams, followed by silence and yes I did just copy and paste that from Wikipedia
Credits
all the games textures will be taken from doom and were ripped by me by print screening in game or when using doom builder monster sprites come from here http://doomfansite.s...oom-sprites.php
weapon sprites where ripped by FalconDelta and SladeEXE on the spriters resource also I am using kellessdee Dynamic Lighting Script
Edit I will be using gun sprites form the Zdoom forum I will list all the original sprite artist here and in the game credits the pistol in the 15th post was made by xaser I will be useing the fantastic First Person Labyrinth Explorer by MGC which you can get here http://save-point.org/thread-422.html
NOTE I NEED A WRITER!!! I am looking for a talented writer or a group to help write the logs and documents and items you find in the game like the stuff you find in system shock or resident evil just message me with whatever you want and I will try to put it in the game and you will be credited of course
