Door flashes as open....

I have a small thing that is bugging me,


I tried to set this switch up to unlock a door, but set it on a timer so it locks after 5 seconds,


but when you click on the door it shows it as open while the text is playing. What part of the code is causing this?


I have a feeling its something to do with the switches on page 2 but IDK im a noob and this is my first game.

you need to use Direction Fix, or else the event will turn toward the player while they are interacting with them, so if you have an event like this where direction matters, you'll want to use direction fix so they don't change direction unless you use a move route command to do so.

I'm pretty sure you need a direction fix setting on the event. By default, when talking to an npc that's an event, they turn towards you, right? The same goes for doors, so you need something to keep that from happening. I'm not sure though, if I'm wrong, smite me er something.

Despite the video, I don't think we have all the information to see what's happening here. Could you post the Events and Conditions concerning the Hell's Switch, please..?

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
