Door vanishes after cutscene

okay so

I made a cutscene where the character runs out of the door, but as soon as she goes through it, the door disappeared?

it worked under normal going in and out circumstances, but just this one time it vanished and I cant work it out

I used the auto-door thing too

Edit:

I forgot to mention I'm using a switch for it

at first it goes into the normal bedroom and is used as the exit for normal bedrrom, but after switch 4 is activated it is used as a exit and entrance for a different room

is that what's effecting it? if so, is there a way to do something similar without breaking it?

EDIT:

oh my god I'm so stupid. I forgot to add a graphic for the door on the second page.

if you have this problem REMEMBER THE GRAPHIC

The last command in the door's move route is "turn up". If you look at the spritesheet, you will see that the door has no sprite for the "up" direction.


At this point, thought, you should have transferred to another map, so there is some OTHER problem if you are still on this map long enough to see that.


Make sure the tile behind the door can be walked on.

is this the issue?

@shaz I did try removing the "turn up", and by behind the door tile do you mean actually on the wall behind the door, or in the room it's going into?

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
