Hello again!

I have recently tried to add a clock using a common event (see picture). However, I am also using Yanfly's Message script and as a result my chat windows have gone ultra thin, as you can see in the images provided.

I am a complete script noob, but I understand from another that I have not configured yanfly's script properly. Is there anyone out there that can explain what I need to do in a clear and easy to understand way?

Thank you again!

Okay, this might not work, but I can't see any other reason that it would interfere, but maybe those quotes might cause it to get a bit confused. Try removing them, see how that goes?

Annoyingly it doesn't work. Apparently I am to reconfigure Yanfly Message script somehow, and I am not sure how I am supposed to.

Please configure the message script correctly - that script gives you the option to dynamically change the text windows, and you told it to set it to zero by controlling the preset variable to zero.
Follow the link "how to use a script" in my signature - a lot of the more complex scripts need to be configured after copying them in, you can't simply "copy and forget" them, that results in errors like the one you have above.

I still don't quite understand how and what I am supposed to change. Is there an easier way to explain how to go about this? As I have said before scripting is something I am very new to and given a learning disability, I find it hard to understand new things if they are not laid out in front of me in an easy way.

No
You have to edit (writing new text inside it) the script, more precisely the line in the configuration section that tells the script which variables to use for detecting the size of the textbox.

These numbers need to be changed to the numbers of variables that you don't use in your project.

I even used Yanfly's message script as an example in the "how to use a script" tutorial, copying one of the lines of the script to show what you need to change.

Please state to which point of the tutorial you got before you didn't understand what it is about, and I'll explain it to you.

But as said in the second point of that tutorial - you need to read the script (and the tutorial) to understand what to do, you can't simply copy and ignore it.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
