my sad story im an engineer on a cargo ship with a poor internet connection.

but i do want to follow some video tutorials..?

anyone has some nice downloadable video tutorials? so my dad can put it on my hard drive when i come home to pick it up and have plenty

tutorials on this ship instead of waiting 1 hour for 2 min video time...

if you have internet download manager when you are on the video Link internet download manager pops up and says : Download video from page

if you don't have internet download manager u can use www.getvid.net to download vids

u just put the video link in the bar and it will download

I know that some people learn better from videos, but I strongly suggest to ask not only for video tutorials but also download the PDFs and follow written tutorials.
I've seen time and time again that a lot of small details are lost in a video tutorial, simply because the teacher is restricted in time and skips anything he/she believes "common knowledge" - but which often is unknown to new users.


You can follow the link in my signature to other tutorial links, including one to an unofficial tutorial handbook of 200 pages - that might be an alternative for you, because you would need to get dozens of tutorial videos to get the same info as is placed in that PDF (if I remember correctly, the PDF is about 50 MB iirc and it would be easy to download and store that even with a bad connection)

allready have them andar i just want as many as tutorials i can get,

with how ppl did somethings there self and have some tips i might suggest the getvid.net to my dad if he can handle it
