Dragging screen with mouse?

Ive been searching for something like this for a few days with no luck.
Has anyone attempted this at all? my game uses mouse for mostly everything, wich limits me to only use maps that fit the screen.
For several reasons being able to drag the screen around with the mouse would be really useful to me.
So if anyone could give me at least some info on how to achieve this i would be really thankful!

I don't know if "dragging" is possible (it will need a plugin), but you could allow a control of scrolling by event command, and link that to buttons or a HUD (still requires a plugin in most cases, but those already exist).

However - why should the use of a mouse limit you to maps of screensize? nothing should stop you from using larger maps while using mouse, you just aren't able to control the scrolling in default.

@Andar yes i can make it work like that, but its not optimal for what i want to do, so i wanted to avoid that approach if possible.
The map size limit is related to that, since there is no player character to control in the game, only the cursor, i wanted a way for the player to easily move the screen around without relying on buttons, etc

@Amarok Maybe looking at the coding of tomoaky's SRPG plugin may help a bit? It locks the game to only use the mouse for everything in a battle except menu commands.

@Amarok hey pal, it's a hard-to-sleep-night so i make this plugin for you to drag the game screen with mouse
Just press Left Mouse for 2 seconds then try dragging around :- )
(yeah about my plugin name... don't mind it, just a random name popped out at that time)
