S.S.C
Dragon Engine - Super Smooth Camera
(1.01)
by Jorge
Introduction
This plugin generates a delay effect in the movement of the camera until it stabilizes in focus, creating an fancy smooth effect!
It also provides several functions that can help you create cool effects in the cutscenes of your games.

Features
- Smooth camera scroll; :kaoswt:
- Set the speed of the camera scroll;
- Set the camera's focus to any character on the map;
- Set the camera's focus to any coordinate on the map;
- Set camera offset relative to the current focus;
- Dinamic Camera: If the focus is a character, the position of the camera will adjust according to the direction of this character. (Optional)
- A lot of commands to make this plugin as user friendly as I could! If you have any suggestions, leave them here, I will gladly consider them;
- You can also disable the system during the game using a simple plugin command if you wish.

Great stuff!
Just a suggestion. A "Wait for Camera"command would be great to use with cutscenes where you use camera shifting, event movement, and message boxes all at once.

Thanks!
I thought about doing something like that today when I was building the system demo. haha
It would be very useful, indeed. Thanks for the suggestion, it will be considered!

Now there is a video showing the system:

A download for the system demo has also been added:

Nice work, I love this! Just a request is there any way to facilitate zooming in and out as well? This would make it the perfect camera plugin for me.

I just tried it and it worked great. Even usable for someone like me who does not know how to work with js.I am looking forward using this plugin for more interesting scenes.

Amazing plugin! Although simple, it adds super charm to the game's aesthetics.

This is a recurring error with this type of plugin. I imagine that @JorgeMaker is working on a new solution.

Hi there JorgeMaker (tranquilidade meu amigo?)
I'm going to write in English, maybe other people are having this problem too:
Whenever I activate your plugin, the Autosave option stops working and I'm not able to even save the game. Is this a bug or an imcompatibility with VisuStella SaveCore plugin?

Hm for some reason, still no success. It fails to save. I enter the menu, it shows the message that the save failed. I try to save manually and it does not work.

I was doing some extra tests here, but now it seems to work all good D:, are you using a loaded game? I think it needs to be a new game to work all fine now.

Oddly enough, I have updated all my VisuStella plugins, downloaded yours again, and still no success in saving my games.

Here the autosave is working again. It just the flickering bug that remains.

Sorry for the disappearance, guys!
I updated the script a few weeks ago, fixing the problem you were having with the save (thanks to the great Raizen!), I also fixed the flickering bug.
Check the script link on github to get the new version!

I also want to announce that Gabe and I are making a new camera system that will replace this one. It will be even bigger and better. :kaopride:

wow new camera system... if you're making new camera system... can i add suggestion.
1. RTS game like camera.
when the mouse goes to left side of the screen... the map scroll to left... like lots of RTS game such as red alert 2, age of empires, etc...

2. Mobile game dragging camera.
clicking the mouse (or touching if using mobile) and then drag the map... if drag movement to the left... the camera move to the opposite direction (so we feel like we're dragging the camera). just like lots of mobile game.

hope this suggestion can be made :D.

I haven't been on here in forever wow(missed my forum birthday T-T). Anyways, I'm dabbling in BGMs, here's something I'm actually willing to share.

Binge-watched 6 episodes of the Erased anime... And that means I've watched half of it?! Sigh...
I'm bad at base-building games (looking at other players created an aesthetically beautiful base compared to me), but IDK why I keep playing the game and seek more of it.
Pyra and Mythra in smash ultimate are way too OP. They're basically Smash 4 Bayonetta 2.0, and not in a good way. Very toxic and unfair. At least they're hot tho.
