You made a good choice getting Final Fantasy. Dragon Warrior/Quest is great, and both series of games rule, but Final Fantasy is better.

I didn't enjoy the remakes for the DS. I played Dragon Quest Joker all the way to the end and didn't really think much of the game. I liked catching the monsters and breading them, but the game overall was pretty weak.

I'm having a tough time defeating Kandar the second time on Dragon Warrior 3: Hard-type. He attacks 3 times per turn for about 75 damage each hit. My characters have between 100 to 190 HP and at least one character dies each turn. I'm gonna have to level-grind some more. :D

Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
