Maybe send me an image of the DS ones. I havent seen those yet. I am sure I will probably just stick with the other ones, but it couldnt hurt to see them.
And update...
I have spent the weekend with my girlfriend, so I havent gotten much further since friday. It was her birthday yesterday, so that takes priority over the game, so sorry everyone. I am hoping to get back to work tomorrow sometime, but then I will be spending alot of my day tuesday not working as well. We have a concert wednesday, and I need to make some cash to send to MobyChan before she goes on strike, lol. But, as soon as I get home, I will be right back to work.
And btw, for anyone who doesnt know yet, MobyChan is single-handedly remaking the original breeding, taming, and monster farm systems specially for this game (even though they will also appear in her own game soon as well)(Which, may I say, sounds like an awesome freaking game). I didnt think the demo would have the taming and monster farm, but thanks to her, we should have both of them operational in the first public demo, so look forward to taming you some monsters.
But, on the down side, we will not be having monster breeding until at least the third demo. It is a very complicated system, and I am not going to risk overworking my lead scripter. Just not worth it. So, we will probably be well into our way into the Ice World until we get into breeding.
And for an update, this is how the demos are going to look.
Demo 1: Opening/Oasis World
Demo 2: 1st Tournament/Pirate World
Demo 3: 2nd & 3rd Tournaments/Ice World
Demo 4: Sky World/4th Tournament
Pre-Release: All Data/patches will be reset.
Final Release: Full game through Limbo, Brawn, Elf world, etc.
And you read that right. My hopes is to allow game patching during the demo stages so that when a new demo is released, you can just pick it back up where you were. BUT... but when you finally get the chance to get the full game, all patches will be reset and the patch folder will be emptied. This is for two reasons. 1. So that every person starts off with a brand new game (which may or may not be because of a planned contest that also may or may not be talked about later... maybe). 2. So that the patch folder is clear and ready for post-game fixes and the numerous expansions that are planned.
