I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I couldn't find anywhere else that fit.

Anyways, straight to the point. I installed DragonBones stuff from Yanfly so I can has some nice looking bad guys, but when I try to launch the game it gives me one error, "Uncaught ReferenceError: dragonBones is not defined"

I'm sure the fix is simple, but nothing I've been looking up has been able to help.

Thanks in advance!

My project had a similar error after it was deployed. Unfortunately, the only thing I could do to fix it was to eliminate Dragonbones all together and use static image versions of the Dragonbones assets. Though for this particular error, did you follow the setup instructions on the plugins page of Yanfly's site? Because it states you have to modify the project's index.html file (with a text editor like Notepad++) a certain way to use it.

I'm pretty sure I followed the directions correctly, I edited the Index file and all that, though it's entirely possible I did it wrong. I'm going to try a few things but I'm still stumped.

Please show a screenshot of your index.html file side-by-side with a screenshot of your folder that contains the DragonBones library files.

And a screenshot of the full error message from the Console for good measure (press F8 when it crashes to open the Console)

A screenshot of the contents of the folder, or a screenshot of the one containing the folder?

Chances are you have stuff in the wrong folder. They go in from root
ROOT/js/libs/dragonbones
and for assets themselves they go in
ROOT/dragonbones_assets

Okay, so where exactly is this ROOT folder? I don't see one in my files?

@GriffintheD Root refers the folder the file starts in. This is what the root of a RPG Maker MV project looks like:

Basically your index.html and where the actual files are has to match.

In your index.html, you have written "js/libs/dragonbones/dragonBones.js"

Where is that dragonBones.js file? Is it in that folder that you have written? Show us where the dragonBones.js file is.

ah... I see what you did.
you only need the dragon bones files in that folder.
dragonbones.js
dragonbonesPixi.js

Move the other stuff back to where that where. ROOT/js/libs is where the libs go only dragonbones libs above go in ROOT/js/libs/dragonbones/

Another way to make sure your javascript files go is to check index.html the path is listed. And that is actually what matters. if your path is wrong. Then the file simply won't load. No Error either IIRC when I tried to install Dragonbones. You just get Dragonbones Not Defined

Okay I think we're making progress but now I'm getting a new problem trying to launch the game.

Congrats you got the script working now we gotta get the textures working! :)
You most likely have your DragonBones Assets folder in the wrong place. The Root Folder is your game folder where all your custom directories should go. You want your dragonbones assets located there.

e.g.
ROOT/dragonbones_assets/

So you mean something like this?
(The game in the files is called "Skyborne" still but I'm aware that game already exists, the name is different I just don't know how to change the file name without it freaking out)

OH MY GOD MY BABY IS ALIVE AGAIN!! Thank you so much! You and everyone else that helped!
Oh dear god now I have to see if the actual animations work ;-;

Oh and I know I can change the name in system, it just doesn't change the name in the files, and if I try renaming the folder it refuses to save

EDIT: Okay now I'm having another issue but the game is playable. The animations aren't working and it's facing the wrong way

Did you copy and paste the notetags? (those are the text files)
As for facing the wrong way.
Toggle Sideview battle. (It's In system)

Pretty sure the notetags are correct, it's showing the giant kitsune (the file I'm using) but it's not showing any of its animations
And I have sideview battle turned on

Writes that the characters have to climb a mountain.

Realized that I have to draw six sets of models where characters are climbing.

At least I know how to draw something. :)
I'm currently scratching my head on how to design plains. What do I even put in plains? Some trees (but not too many or it turns into a forest)? Grass? A few bushes? That's a bit dull.
I'm looking for tutorials but Google didn't seem to find much (or maybe I have the wrong keywords). I don't know how to map plains and I don't know how to learn.
I should probably be dragged kicking and screaming away from Daz3D... I was playing with 8.1 models and came up with this. Thoughts?
