So this is my first time trying out Aekashic's dragonbones assets, I have all the plugins,files, copied notetags, the enemy moves idle but when it comes to attacks he doesn't go up and move and stays idle, I know im using a pack from MV but when I used an MZ dragonbone asset It was still the same issue, idle animation works but doesn't move when attacking. Battlecore breaks the game when I use dragonbones so its off, am I missing a plugin or am I just having issues with the copied notes?

Have you definitely set the attack animation to the correct name from the fox's JSON file?

I was going to check that it works on my end for that battler, but I can't find a forest fox in Aekashics' collection. Where's it from?

The following is what i have, strangely if i give it a blank attack in the database(no formula or nothing just an empty panel) it actually thrusts but doesn't move from its initial spot

You can't use the settings as-is: the notetag for Dragonbones Union is <Dragonbones Battler Settings> and it uses Motion instead of Ani. Here's what I have and it works fine:


<Dragonbones Battler Settings>
Battler: ForestFox
Scale: -1.0, 1.0
Size: 150, 120

Motion Wait: Idle
Motion Walk: Idle
Motion Attack: Attack A
Motion Swing: Attack A
Motion Thrust: Attack A
Motion Missile: Attack A

Motion Spell: Attack A
Motion Item: Attack A

Im getting this prompt now, The only way I got past this was to turn off the battlecore, hence why the fox never went up to attack, but now with Motion in the tags its crashes with and without the battle core,
I even , made a new project and can confirm its not an issue with the plugins i have cause this will still show up in a new one

Yup! Just did and it looks like it’s working now. Last question if you’re able to answer it but, how to I set the unit to use a different motion for attack? Do I go to the skill notetags? And if so what’s the format?

You put the notetags on the enemy itself. The bit I pasted just goes in the enemy note box, then under Motion X you put the name of the animation you want to use.
