This a topic where you share dreams or experiences that seemed almost too real. (or not) I experienced something the other day and I still wonder if it was real or not.

I was laying in bed at night awake when I heard a loud shouting "I like to have fun!! Rub a dub dub!!" followed by loud knocking at the front door. This kind of like sounds like something out of Rick and Morty. Nevertheless, I was scared. :kaoeh:

Though at this point it has to been a dream because no one else heard it...:kaoswt:
(Of all the things my brain picked Rick and Morty...WHY!?)

Anything interesting with you guys?

Oh, I sometimes have the strangest dreams....
Hm, which one to pick?
The one were I fall into a huge machine over and over again?
The one were my partents' late dog has severe health issues?

Oh, now I know!

I used to have a dream about me living in some kind of secure shelter down in the sewers.
Through a small slit in the steel door I can see a zombie woman. She knows I'm in there and tries to seduce me to come out.
But because I basically have everything in there (like bed, bathroom, TV and supplies for over a year) I reject her "generous" offer. Which makes her furious and she starts pounding against the steel door (which I know will withstand any onslaught).

I haven't had this dream in quite a while now. :ehappy:

When I was really little I used to have this reoccuring dream where I was basically a borrower.
All I remember was being about 2 inches tall, walking up to the corner post at the top of the stairs in some house and there was a tiny door that
went inside the pillar, with a really tiny, but realllllly long stair case going down the bottom of the wood, with strung up lights and stuff...
It was really weird and ive never had a dream that realistic since.

I mostly suffer from terrible reoccurring nightmares. Though, when my mental state is a bit more stable I recall confusing or nonsensical dreams - once I dreamt that people had no faces, and I wasn't sure whether to be unnerved or confused. Oh! I did have a dream in which I had a tiny lil' kitten (so tiny she could fit inside a teacup) and we just played. That was probably the best dream I've ever had. :D

The most unnerving dream I've ever had was one which seemed to predict my friend's death. The horrible thing about it was that it came true, and I found out she had overdosed. :(

I've also had what's known as a false awakening, in which you're still dreaming but think you're awake. That was terrifying. It felt like awoke from one nightmare, but in truth I was still in it - tall black figures stood around my bed and I couldn't move. As they drew closer I could see that they had no faces, just an empty void where a face should be. They all got so close all I could see was blackness, then I woke up for real. The horrible thing about this dream was it was so vivid. It really felt like I was awake and that I was being attacked. Apart from the hooded figures, everything else was normal.

Almost every night, I come up with a dream without sense. One that I recall almost perfectly.

I was at my high school, and the day was over, so I went back home, except I didn't took the bus, but I took another road. I went outside, and there was a bunch of people running. Curiously, I joined them to figure out why they were so excited. When I turned the corner, I noticed I wasn't at the same place (pretty much like Transfer Player command in RPG Maker, but much smoother). I was at my first school. So I follow the brick wall until I reach the entrence of the building. I entered (why was I even going there in the first place?) but it didn't looked like my school. It was a bureau with wood floors and computers everywhere. Rushed people were passing by. Then, I walked to the squared stairs, just as if I knew where I was going but never been there before, kind-of odd feeling.

On the first floor, the room was vast but empty. I stared at the walls for maybe a minute (that was long) and went up to the second floor, where I found gymnastics instruments and punching bags packed up in the corners of the room, but despite that, the room felt as empty. On the third floor, it was darker, and the walls much taller. When I stepped forward, the screen turned on. But it was nothing like a modern screen, it was grey, and the quality was poor. Then, a voice spoke out. I have no memories of what he was saying, neither what pictures he was showing me, but it was really confusing. After a 2-minutes-long speech, the screen turned black. Next to the stairs that were leading to the fourth stairs, there was a bunch of switches, just like those that turn on/off the lights. Don't ask me why I spent time turning them on and off, but I did. Strangely, the switches had no effect. Finally, I left them, when I felt like this is how they add to be (this one on, this one off, etc.) The fourth floor was pretty much the same as the third floor. When I came up, the same voice was speaking and showing images that left me confused. I sat on a sofa near the screen to relax. I stared at the stairs leading to the next floor, but I guess I was just too tired and closed my eyes.

Phew, I'm not a good story-teller, but if you feel like this is weird, remember I have dreams every night that are THIS strange. I have yet to figure out what my dream was trying to tell me...

Back when I was still in high school, I had this one frightening dream. I was having a nap in my room at around 4 in the afternoon. It was still bright outside, and my room was lit up quite well by the sunlight. However, I woke up after a few minutes of sleep. Feeling a bit refreshed, I groggily rose up, and I couldn't help but felt a tad strange with my surroundings, which were dark and gloomy. The walls, my stuffs, etc. were all in the shades of dull blue, black and gray. My initial thought was that it was about to rain.

So I walked towards the door, but I felt very weak to even turn the knob. Not sure what was going on with myself, I instinctively just turned around. That's when I saw myself, still lying down on my bed. I was stumped and shocked. The first thought that crossed my mind was that I was dead. My mind was blank and my vision got a little bit darker and gloomier. Brimming with fear, I was at a loss and didn't know what to do. Meanwhile, I became immobile and there was nothing I could do except stare helplessly at my "dead" body.

Then, I had this very faint feeling inside me that this was all just one bad dream. I began to close my eyes and "focus on getting back inside my own body". I really didn't know what I need to do, so I just imagined myself slowly but steadily going back inside my body.

After a few moments, I felt as if there were some cool air rushing into my body, something like the sensation you get when you have pins and needles. I could feel my skin tingled and the hairs on my arms, necks etc. stood up. After all that, I opened my eyes again and the first thing that made me feel relieved and alive was the fact that there were now colors everywhere!

Another eerie dream that I had was when I suddenly felt a pair of rough hands combing my hair whilst I was lying down on my bed. Everything around me was dark and I was frozen in place. Feeling powerless with my immobility, I just went through it until I “drifted off” again. The next morning, I told my mom about it, and she said that “that thing” was probably fond of me haha ;_;

I've sometimes had this recurring dream that differed slightly each time:
My mom and I had gone to a supermarket which I learn was run by Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz (cuz why not, that was my sort of childhood) from a giant banner that just had his face on it and was labeled: "Dr. Supermarket!" But when I try to tell my mom, she gets too focused on the fruit section (which for some reason was shelved with a bunch of ice cubes) and just shoos me away. (This is when it differs, I'll just talk about the first scenarios, keep in mind that they end the same way, so don't worry) After she shoos me away, I end up looking down the isles until I realize that the place is overrun with robotic people! (AKA a person with a wheel from the waist down) so, like any frightened child, I hide. I run into the bathroom stalls, which for some reason has a giant glass see through hole on the door??? So anyone could see you, but my dream self didn't get that, and I hid there until two robotic people (one of 'em was Selena Gomez???) came in and after a while they slowly turned and saw me! I freaked out and all the sudden the entire dream kinda did the TV screen effect and outside the TV screen there was a Wii remote with a giant "pause" button, and these tiny lil' stuffed animals came, with their lil' police hats, and paused everything except me allowing for my escape! I made it back to my mom, who told me it was time to go home. We left quickly, with an entire horde of robots following us to the car. And right before we open the car door, my mom gestures to my brother (he just appeared for some reason, I dunno) and told him to put the shopping cart back. He gets really confused, cuz the horde would kill him if he went back, but she got angry and ordered him to put the cart back. My brother ran back to the supermarket (I don't know why, but he actually didn't bring the cart with him, just RAN) and right as he was running the dream ended.
My brother was mad at me when I told him what happened.
The second occurrence dealt with zombies
and the third time was with scribbles.
They didn't involve Wii remotes, but they had more cinematic action scenes in my opinion.
I also had a dream where I woke up, looked at the mirror, and my hair was on fire.

Whenever I'm fighting dragons or any other creature on my dreams, my wounds hurt for real. After I awake, I realize it was just a dream.

I died in one of my dreams before, I got pierced by a spear in my belly! I could feel the cold metal entering my body, the taste of blood in my mouth. Ugh... That hurts a lot! :dizzy:

The most annoying foes I have is when I'm fighting hordes of zombies. I'm always alone, and no matter how many times I kill them, THEY DON'T DIE! D:<
I get really tired of this in my dreams.

Ah, just yesterday morning, i had a so beautiful dream that i didn't want to awake anymore. In the dream i had met a girl with short hair and wearing a big glasses, she was a staff in hospital or an accountant i couldn't tell. But we fell in love in the first look and she gave me a "honey" kiss, then we were walking in a green garden. I can't stop thinking about her even now, sigh, i loved the girl in my dream... I hope time can fill this emptiness in my heart

I have always had interesting dream experiences since many nights I act them out. I have some strange breed of sleeping disorder that makes you sleep walk nearly every night, sometime up to 10 times a night.

Some of the stranger things I've done in my sleep is hide my keys and phone (really well too, I might add...), I think I was having a dream about being on a bomb squad when I punched out a window whilst hiding behind a blanket (because... a blanket would shield me from an explosion :p , haha!) I stuck my finger into the middle of my fiances back while he was sleeping and told him "listen Mother F#$%^& this is a knife, don't move" (needless to say he was a tad un-nerved by that, lol) Once while having a nightmare that I was being pursued by someone dangerous, I was trying to open a wall (in my dream it was a door) when my hubby grabbed me I screamed loud enough to wake the dead, we lived above our landlord at the time... haha, yeah, fun times, fun times.

The goes on, and on, and on, and on. Makes for good table talk! :p

@Kyoku That dream was both adorable and twisted - definitely something a child would conjure up. I loved it when lil' teddy police came to the rescue. :)

@just1witness Wow! I imagine your family is used to it now, but at first were really worried (you might hurt yourself) and scared. My mum told me that I've walked in my sleep when I was a kid, but it wasn't frequent. Apparently, once I told her I needed to be somewhere while wearing nothing but my underwear. xD

@The Stranger Yeah, it's just me and the kids now, and they are so used to it, that when I grab one out of their bed and run for the door, they don't even wake up anymore, haha. As for my family, it seems to be a hereditary issue, since my Mom (60) has always done it and still does. So, there hasn't been a lot of concern since it's familiar. So far neither of us has been hurt, or hurt anyone else. :D

as for just dreams though:

One of my worst dream experiences though was a dream that my youngest son hit his head. I decided he would be fine and didn't get medical attention, and he died in his sleep. Then I was driving my car and I looked into the rear view mirror where he normally sits and upon seeing his place empty, felt a deep sense of helplessness and loss. It immediately woke me up and I've never forgotten the feeling. Worst dream EVER.

Oh my God, you reminded me of entirely HORRYFING dream, I had once ago.

I can't remember all the things than but I was with my son ( 4 years, at the time of the dream 3 ), with whom I played in a strange, big house - kind of a palace actually. When I hugged him and in a way lied him in my arms, his head suddenly fell of - like a doll.

BRRR... The strange thing is I didn't feel hotrified or scared in the dream at all.

I was walking down a sidewalk and I came across a child on the ground. I take him to a building where there are several children laying on the ground painting symbols with their bodies. One of them points to above the door and says "he's the symbol we all want to be." I look up and find the child tied to a board above the door. The straps break, he falls to the ground and shrieks and falls apart. His face falling to pieces as he screams.

I don't remember when, but in my dreams, a kitty kidnapped my girlfriend. I'm not joking, because that dream kitty was strong determined to make me pay a big amount of money for her. And, well... end of the story: I paid the kitty, but he didn't give back my girlfriend :kaolivid:
There is a meaning in all of these: Kitties have the same cuteness as their evilness. :kaomad3:

It's not really interesting as dream walk, but despite the girl kidnapped, It was all... relaxing? :kaoswt:

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
