A friend of mine was heading toward a construction merge and was behind another car when suddenly behind her comes this other car barreling towards her. She thinks the person will stop cause there is no where for her to merge unless my friend moves out of the way. My friend speeds up and so does the car behind her. The other car forces my friend off the road and then curses at her as she passes. There we plenty of signs for the merge but this person deliberately forced their way in regardless. Scary.

More rain and dark out. I am doing 40 in a 45mph road and still get cut off by several cars. They must have some kind of super human powers I do not have. XD I guess they think they are invincible or something and that is why every time it rains there are more accidents.

Not really hazards, but pretty annoying situations I ran drove into today.

1. Some idiot was trying to park, so he waited for a car to get out. Problem is, he also blocked my path and held up the car behind me. There were cars coming in from the opposite direction, so I couldn't pass him. He was also pretty close to the middle, so it was also risky trying to pass him. Finally a couple came to their car, and tried to leave. This moron drove up close to them before they could get out. He didn't understand that people can't leave if he's coming in at the same time. Worst is when I drove up a bit further in the parking lot, there were still plenty of parking space. So this jackass wasted my time and held up me and other cars for no reason.

2. Shortly after, when I was trying to come out of the parking lot, there were 2-3 cars in front of me. They came out, and I pull up. As I looked to my left and right, checking for pedestrians, I slowly drove my car forward since there were no pedestrians in close distance. I looked to my left again, and I saw 2 guys riding bikes toward me. They were far away when I saw them, but what I didn't expect was how fast they were riding. I couldn't stop my car, since they wouldn't have space to move in front my car, anyway. I just drove up a bit further, so they can move behind me. One dude put his hand up and gave me a "wtf" look as if I just got naked in front of him or something... Dude, what are you giving me that attitude for?

Why am I a magnet for idiot drivers, lol?

Wow that is tough. It is hard to tell how fast some drivers are. I love it when they splash thru a puddle and blind me for a few seconds. Always accidents when it rains and you pray you are not behind one. One thing interesting is when you are waiting to pull out onto a street and some one pulls up and you can no longer see the traffic so you have to wait till they pull out and the guy behind you won't stay patient for long. I've even been honked while waiting at red light. I am like, Dude what part of the light is red to do you not understand, XD

Update:

We have a "S" curve going into our work complex. For whatever reason some people think they can drive in the middle but it's two lanes for a reason. Just the other day on my way home I was an inch from grinding my car against another who thought "Let me go fast and also take part of the other person's lane cause I can" Sometimes I just want to let it happen. But I have a conscious and I work to avoid any and all accidents if possible. Not sure I say that of the other person.

Next time though I am going to slam on my horn as loud as possible.

Had a really irritating instance today, stuck behind someone in the outer most lane (the fastest) poodeling along not letting anyone overtake anyone else on the busiest motorway in the UK (I think) so our driver gets annoyed after 5 mins and decides to overtake them by undertaking so he can visually gesture to them to get into the slow lanes.... We overtake and see she's completely oblivious and TEXTING. We gestured for her to move to the slow lane but she didn't see cause I guess her conversation was more important than slowing down the entire M25 and possibly killing people.

Same as when I cross the parking lot in front of the store. I take my life in hands. Those people will run you over. Their time is more important and they are special so they can speed or do whatever. Remember when pedestrians could cross without having to fear being run over. Then you have those pedestrians that cross busy highways and will cross in front of you. We have an S shaped curve leading into our workplace. I have to go 10mph or less cause idiot drivers will drive in the middle or be crossing over into my lane. I have nearly been side swiped at least twice or more. Two incidents the car has within and inch of mine. Scary

Update: Recently had another incident. I was driving down a local road when out of nowhere comes this car and they are passing everybody. I slow down a little and let them thru. Funny thing is when we get to the traffic light I am about 5 cars in front of them while they sit in the other lane further back. Instant Karma. So how much time did they save by driving like an idiot? Maybe I should have waved LOL. :stickytongue:

Woa... Been 2 months since I last posted here? Time flies.

This happened Monday last week: I was on my way from work to home for lunch. There were 4 lanes, 2 on the left, and 2 on the right (so ↓ ↓ and ↑ ↑ . I was on the 3rd lane, and going this way ↑. All of a sudden a car from the opposite side of my came out of god knows where, and started going ^ on the second lane, against the flow of traffic on the other side. At first, I thought he was trying to get on to the right side, so I waited and let him cut in front of me. After like 1-2 seconds or so, he still didn't switch lane.
I was confused, but I thought he wanted to let me pass or whatever he was planning, so I tried to speed up to drive past him. All of a sudden this jackass, I don't think he had turn signals by the way, switched to my lane. I had to brake quickly, because our cars were kind of close. I was flabbergasted, and pissed, because we almost had a collision because this idiot was driving recklessly.

I might have gotten the order of events mixed up, but this is what happened next. Before I could honk him (or maybe I did first...?), someone else did. I don't know if that was for me or the dude in front of me, but the sound came from the right side of me, not from behind. And next, the dude driving recklessly was sticking his arm out, balling it into a fist, and wave it at me. I gave him a middle finger and honked him back.
He kept waving it his fist at me, so I honked him again. He sped up and left me behind. I probably should have honked again, but I didn't want to confuse the other drivers. I had to make a left turn shortly after that, while he continued to go straight. Perfect opportunity to spam the honk, though, lol.
I considered getting a toy gun and shoot bb pellets at guys like these, the next time I see them.
But maybe not a good idea, or is it?

This is exactly why in our country we have a highway law that says you're allowed in the left lane only when you want to overtake - to have a free lane for overtaking. Either way, against crazy drivers like these I recommend caution. If the speeds are similar, keep your distance until he decides what he wants to do.

If you want to provoke a potentially dangerous conflict or a car accident or maybe get into prison or even get shot, then by all means it is a brilliant idea. Even more so in the USA, where many people carry guns. But definitely not the smartest one to just prank reckless drivers, even more so in the USA, where many people carry guns, because nobody will care that the gun is fake. They'll just shoot you to death and they'll be in the right to do so. Punishing reckless drivers is not easy.

Reckless drivers are everywhere.
I have to drive with a bicycle, if I would be a sane person I would always fear about my life.
I try to save up some money now to get a driver license, even if this paper is ridiculous expensive in germany.
After that I plan to get a robust pick up truck (for many reasons), then these maniacs should try again to be reckless against me.

I always liked motorcycles, when I was a child I always planned to get one as adult.
I think I will buy one, one day, too, if Im not living in a city full of crazy ppl anymore.
My final plan is to find a small cozy place in the countryside.^^

I was going to turn left, so I stayed on the left lane. And regardless, that dude would have been stopped by a cop since he was actually driving against the flow of traffic. And from where he was coming out, I'm not sure if he was legally allowed to make that left turn, either. Oh, I forgot to mention: he was driving the same car as mine (maybe different year or type): a Ford Fusion. Makes me extra salty.

Yeah, you're right. That was dumb of me. Gonna go get a real gun and molotov.
If the cops ask, please tell them how nice I am.

Aaaah stupid people and merging! I hate stupid drivers. ;A;

One time I was driving on the highway late at night and the right lane was merging over. There weren't many people on the road, thankfully. Someone gets on the highway and is sticking in the right lane. I've moved to the left because I saw the merge sign two miles ago and got over then. The lane finally starts to merge, guy hasn't gotten over and when the lane finally ends, and he has to go in the left lane, HE BREAKS. Like full on STOPS dead on the otherwise empty highway with me barreling down on him at 65 MPH, I'm trying to break, my wheels are skidding, I'm honking. Finally he goes and there's not an accident but omfg.

A few days ago, I'm driving to a J-fashion event that's about 2 hours away. I didn't sleep the night before because driving long distances in the morning makes me nervous. So i'm really tired. I'm hanging on with caffeine, the AC (when it's already cold), and the radio turned up loudly. It's down pouring. I want to get over to pass a truck because they're spraying water all over me and it's reducing my visibility even further. Some idiot HAS NO LIGHTS ON and is flying up behind me. I can't even see they're in the lane I want to merge into until it's almost too late. WTF.

Guys...beware. The snow is coming soon. Even up here in Michigan there are going to be those psychos who drive like they've never seen the stuff before.

Last year, when I was still on night shift, I was driving home during our first snow. Coming out of the city, there was really only a coating but as I headed up toward the lake where I live it was getting heavier and there was a good inch down on the road. The visibility was low so I'm going a bit slower, of course. This guy...my God. This guy. He was having car trouble, but. Not only did he not have his hazards on, be was pulled over in the right lane, not the shoulder. The right lane...where I'm driving, because my exit is soon. With the low visibility and lack of hazard lights, I am almost too late seeing him, but slam the breaks and almost spin out. Had this not happened at 3 AM and had I not bought a car that is beastly in winter weather (because I am aware I live on Hoth), I would probably be super dead.

This just happened on Monday, this week.
I was about to turn right at a red light. There was a bike lane next to my right, so I wasn't allowed to be on that lane. As I waited at the red light, another lady pulled up besides my right, probably because she didn't know it was a bike lane, I assumed. Of course, when the light turned green, I had to wait for her to go first before I can turn right, since I didn't want to risk having a collision. The cars behind me started honking (not in a mean way, just to alert me, guess they thought we weren't paying attention). I think we had to wait for two pedestrians to finish crossing, but I had to wait for her to move first.

If that was all the story is, then I wouldn't have posted. After we turned right into a small street, which has only two lanes in opposite direction, we continued for a few more blocks. All of a sudden, I looked into my left side rear mirror, and this dude was driving against the flow of traffic to pass me. I honked him, and like a repeat of last Monday, the fool stuck his hand out the window and gave me the bird.
I continued to honk him again. He cut in front of me, switched back to the other lane, and cut in front of the lady who was in front of me. I saw that she was slowing down to turn left. If I hadn't honked the guy, she might have made that turn and hit him. Usually, you don't check rear mirror when you make turn in streets with just two opposing lane. There was also another car coming to us in the opposite direction on the other lane. So, this son of a welfare queen almost caused an accident to 3 people just in one street block, in a matter of 5 seconds.
I wanted to chase after him and continued to honk him, but he sped away so fast so I lost him at the next stop sign.

I am really considering getting a water gun now, lol. Maybe put some paint or soy sauce or coke inside. Do I get any reward for reporting bad drivers? I might get a dashcam and record these idiots.

@Mr. Detective That is scary.

@Ms LittlefishYeah if it ever snows here I am staying home. Their will be wall to wall wrecks. These guys can't even do well in rain.

@tehrin I hate it when large vehicles do that. I am forced to slow down and take a couple seconds to get my site back.

Today I was driving on Dale Mabry during morning rush hour and a truck in the next lane decides he wants in my lane and starts moving into my lane forcing me to slow down and move over. I was inches from getting clobbered. It was one of those delivery trucks about the size of a large uhaul. So scary.

teenagers drive fast like they're gonna die within minutes, while old people drive like they have all the time left in the world

seriously though, Ive had hundreds if not thousands of people run out in front of me, over half of them deliberately doing it for the sake of committing insurance fraud...thankfully nothing has happened, but some days it's terrifying trying to drive anywhere
