Hello there. I am here looking for a script that uses 'can use/cannot use' type of mechanics when applied to combination techniques.

This is what I'm specifically looking for in the script

1.) That when certain characters turns are up and they possess the ability to use certain skills, those skill combine into a new skill utilizing all the involved characters. Say Actor A and B are both able to take actions and Actor A has the skill 'Fire' available while Actor B has the skill 'Slash' available, a new skill 'Fire Slash' will be shown on their skill tree to be used. If these parameters are not met, 'Fire Slash' will be grayed out.

2.) The technique in question when used will take up the turns of all actors involved. Say Actor A engages the technique 'Fire Slash' using his Fire Skill and Actor B's 'Slash' Skill, the necessary MP/TP will be consumed to activate the skill along with the turns of both Actor A and B

3.) Should one of the characters involved in the technique be afflicted with a state that affects the ability to use the skill needed to execute the team combo, the entire combination will be interrupted.

4.) For the script to be compatible with YEA.

I am aware that Victor has a script for this but I don't believe it is compatible with YEA, which I am using.

I'm not using Symphony, I'm not entirely certain if it or this recent script that you showed me is compatible with YEA Battle Engine.

Can anyone confirm or deny compatibility in this regard?

I saw in the thread also that the script in question is still in a testing phase, unless I misread.

I think it is since Symphony is compatible with YEA... though I don't know if it runs without Symphony

anyway, why not try it out yourself?

I actually am working on trying it out right now, though his labeling and organization of his notetags I'm still sifting through to try and figure out how to use it but I think I've got a basic idea of how it works.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
