MPP_EncounterEffect - 2019/06/24 (ver. 2.0)

Creator name: Mokusei Penguin

Overview
Alters an appearance of battle start with dynamic effects.

Note: Ver. 2.0 is compatible with RPG Maker MV v.1.6.2

Features

- 3 Encounter effects (default, screen breaks into glass shape triangles or rectangles)
- Change effect color with rgb color code
- Set where the effect take place on center of a character

Can be done through Plugin Command.

EncEffType type # Change screen cracking method
EncEffChar evId # Character that's center of the effect
EncEffColor r g b # Change effect color

Notes
〇Some effects are omitted on mobile devices
〇Plugin focuses on Battle processing/ Event processing
〇Plugin Command names can be changed for your convenience through plugin parameters

Also, to change sound effect as the screen breaks-
Go to Database = F9, Then "System" > find Sounds it should be under "Battle Start" which is below "Load" and select an Audio file.

Oh! That looks fascinating! I'm tired of the default encounter effect already. Thank you, @tale!
However, is it possible to play an SE when the screen breaks? I personally think it would be better.

@JamesRyan You're welcome, it's possible to play a sound effect by changing "Battle Start" from System > Sounds on Database. I added an extra note on the thread after notes.

Mokusei Penguin fixed a bug where Battle Test isn't working correctly.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

In case someone asks how-to, changing sound effects is done manually:
Go to Database = F9, Then "System" > find Sounds, it should be under "Battle Start" and select an Audio file.

Yeah. that's what I'm temporarily doing :D It is not kinda good but still acceptable.

Does this only work when transitioning to battle processing?

I can't seem to get this plugin to work. I'm definitely doing something wrong.
