Okay bear with me, I am not a scripter by any means. When you say create a new event, do you mean an event like on the event editor on a map, or just by adding a line to the end of the dynamic windows script? Or something else entirely? Adding another line to the dynamic windows script gets me another error, very similar to the first, but it's entirely likely I'm screwing something up.

an event on the map in the normal editor itself. then add a script-call to it from the 3rd tab-page i believe and add that line. then talk to the npc

EDIT:

better just PM me.

Update:

His error was caused because he added my script but never started a new-game but instead kept loading a save... Thus the variable was never initially set and always nil...

When you set a new default Windowskin using the script call, the window for choices doesn't update (tested on a new save game file).

EDIT: It only updates the setting of Window_ChoiceList (when using set_all_skins, set_default_skin) when the scene changes (like opening the menu).
