So this will probably end up focusing on the resource packs being sold due to the nature of the questions, and my questions talk more about art stuff simply because I'm an artist, but I'm curious about this for all resources, not just the paid stuff and not just for art stuff.
What extra things that make resources easier to use would you like to see more of the creatives put into their releases? I'm talking about things like adding in a bunch of recolors, setting up the layouts to easily switch seasons, multiple formatting options for easily plugging it into your engine of choice, the little text file that names what the tiles are supposed to be when you hover over the tile, a file with all the passage settings already set up, prebuilt or taken apart pieces/buildings for parallax/recoloring/paperdoll, and so on. Which ones are the most important to you? Which ones do you not care about and not need? If you had to choose between more resources and more ease of use options, would the lists be different? Is there a difference between what you expect from free options and paid?
I've seen artists include the things mentioned because they think it will be useful, but I don't often hear anyone on the user end talking about this stuff, so it's hard to say which stuff is actually useful and which ones are more time/trouble than they're worth. So, yeah, I'm a bit curious. What do you guys think?
