Here are some goodies! Abyss Diver was a game posted on the EB blog, with many more resources than these. I have a feeling that not many were able to actually download the game itself (it was tricky working with the foreign language blog.) The materials I posted were used, but there are many cool materials in the game itself.


I decided to upload the VX game myself, since I can no longer find the games hosted there. Here it is:

Granny, ive seen those "lab" tiles before, but i never new if they were for commercial use or not, but i always guessed they weren't. Are they?...

Hi JomarCenter.


If we could all rely on my memory I would attempt an answer to your question. I have talked about this with "folks who know" before and I think I know the answer, but I don't want to mislead you since I can't find the PM.


Which things are you particularly concerned about? Many of the scifi tiles come from an old XP sample game and if you own the $2 XP gamemaker from Humble Bundle you are set for them. Of course many of the "made for VX" sprites were included as RTP for Ace.

Since I only need a chalkboard that is 2 by height I am ok with any width but not 3 by height. Like the classic school tile is design.

@DarthVaderMax99 You will have to check each resource that you want to use. The web page where you can download the relevant images will give you the terms of service. No one can tell you off the top of their head, they would have to go looking for you.

I know that I really should not do some necro-posting, but I was not that sure if it was any good to post a new topic about this; is it possible to use the Iconset, non-commercially or commercially for the VX Ace? Just want to make sure if I can truly use it, because it came from the Abyss Driver game.
