Story:

It was yet another fine day at the Cul-de-Sac, with the Eds enjoying their endless summer vacation, when in comes Jonny with a surprise: Kevin's hosting a Jawbreaker party, and for the first time ever, the Eds are invited! As they race after their coveted prizes, however, they soon learn that the Kanker Sisters have taken the delicacies and have no intention to give them back. Now, in their first RPG venture, it's up to the Eds to find the Jawbreaker Crystals they need to win big!

Characters:

Ed: A loveable lump with a big heart and a bigger appetite, Ed's got the strenght of ten men and the smarts of ten sponges, like the ones who live in his bathroom. Perhaps not too bright and certainly the one most prone to accidents, but his loyalty to his friends is formidable and he'll never let them down!

Edd: The brains of the outft, and quite capable with low-level tech, Double-Dee could build a functional airplane out of cardboard boxes and still have enough left to fix your pipes. For this game only, this skill has been combined with your stereotypical magician's arsenal, as Double-Dee is the only one of the Eds who can cast ANY magic, at all. Of course, tough luck keeping him alive...

Eddy: A greedy little jerk, you could say, who could talk an eskimo into buying a freezer nonetheless. Eddy's the boss of the trio, no doubts about it, and the others will have to rely on his quick thinking and footwork to handle quite the threats! Of course, said greed can be quite a pain, especially when money's all you can see...

Features:

-Unique comedic writing, keeping with the mood of the original show while adding a little extra character development to our three loveable scamps.

-Plenty of hotspots to explore and find the silliest of dialogues!

-Non-RTP enemies! [Note: yes, the demo still has some RTP enemies. Unfortunately, we only had enough for one dungeon at the moment and could not add more yet. The plans are for ALL enemies to be original designs, other than perhaps the Kanker Sisters.]

-Multiple endings! It's up to YOU to make sure the Eds find the happy ending they deserve, after six whole seasons of nothing but failure!

-Secret Hard Mode!

Average Demo Time: One hour and a half, or so. No expected length yet, but the idea is to make it at least a few hours. [it's my first game, I don't know how to plan these things.]

Intended Release Date: 2019. This is because this game will be an unofficial product to be released during the 20th anniversary of Ed, Edd n Eddy. On one hand, that's plenty of time! On the other hand, we're actually going to release MORE than just the product you'll be seeing by that time, to satisfy those who want a different experience.

Wait, are you actually going to release the game in 2019? Don't get me wrong, games take awhile but to delay it just to reach a meaningful release date is plain silly.

We have 2.5 programmers and nobody to do sprite work. None of these programmers has experience in Ruby. And even then, we have only 1 full-time programmer.

Saying it'll be done by 2019 is me making an educated and hopeful guess, because it'll probably be done on the last minute.

Eighteen or so dungeons with two to nine floors, plus interesting puzzles [more than what is already there; expect the dungeons to get bigger rehauls than they already have]. So whatever's of that kind.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
