Introduction

Currently, I'm working on a grid inventory system, which I believe has been highly requested throughout the community. Right now, it's almost done, I just need a couple more ideas to finish it up. This is an ongoing project, that I've been working on during the last month. What I'm looking for now is some feedback, on what should be improved in order to have it fit for the majority of the community. This system exists on top of the Cecilia system; which means the windows can be moved around (Right now they're all locked). Furthermore, the base system has been improved and supports mouse over, instead of touch-based window activation (may be added back in later).

Core Concept

This system is generally a reflection of the inventory defined in the menu scene for RMMV. Which means, it's just a representation, not a new entity all by itself. Essentially, this is for users who want to be able to access their inventory from the map scene in a more concise manner.

Updates:

This is a new grid inventory system I'm working on.

Will continue work on the original and update it next week.

tsk.... i'm working too in a grid inventory, but not that way, the idea that i have is different from what are you doing so i think im going to keep working on it.,.. from other point of view is better to the comunity to have multiple plugins doing the same thing in different ways
just curious... Are you using a bi dimensional array to store the grid? i was thinking that a bidimensional array is a very good choice cuz logicaly is like a grid

You could,  but I'm using a 1D array with mappings to my grid. It's a bit harder to work with, but all items in the game return in a 1D array, so I instead  just kept it in that format.

My grid could be consider 2D though,  but the item array itself is 1D.

@Black Mamba @takashi1kun Updated the system with a new screenshot that has a bit more of the planned features in it; I'll be providing the script so people can play around with it pretty soon. Of course, still in the beta form. There's a lot more customization options now. If you have any more feedback based on the screenshot, send it my way.

@Black Mamba I'll consider it; it's a possibility down the line, but I want the core functionality done for now. The plugin is now open for testing and really seeing how it works and if it fits the needs of those interested. @mlogan @Pheonix KageDesu

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such?
