I recently bought the Essentials DLC and found that it contained two pre-made temples based on elements (forest and ice to be specific). Having always used stuff from this forum and never contributing to it myself, I decided to make some pre-made elemental temples myself using the other elements.
CREDITS:
I made it a point to use RTP graphics only, so be sure to credit Kadokawa!
You don't have to credit me, but if you want to, whatevs.
Free to use for both commercial and non-commercial games!
TO DO LIST OF ELEMENTS:
EARTH TEMPLE
I tried to go for a geode approach when designing this temple.
FIRE TEMPLE
Might redo this one later on...I tried to make it appear almost oven-like, but it slowly became a little more like a volcano. You might want to add torches and stuff here!
WATER TEMPLE
My personal favorite thus far, I went for an ancient Greek garden vibe with this temple
This temple is a little bit special, in that I tried to design it in a way that you could use the animated water tiles with the moat around it. (The one on the roof/by the statues...not so much.) Also, if you want to add a little ommph to the waterfalls, there's actually a character in the RTP that's splashing waterfall...well, water.

WIND TEMPLE
Hardest. Temple. So far.
Since something as fluid as wind is hard to convey in still images/architecture, I tried to invoke a sense of flow with swirls in the picture's "movement"/design. (Are those stone clouds? Yeah, I think so...) Went for a duller pallet because any brightness might result in mistaking this for the light/heaven temple.

THUNDER TEMPLE
Took a lot of inspiration from Secret of Mana's final dungeon. I tried to make it look like a giant, magical(ish) machine. I originally tried to make it so there's cracks in the side the looks like lightning bolts, but I toned them down because it looked too busy.
MOON TEMPLE
Okay, this is my new favorite temple. I tried to make it one step in fantasy world, another step in space. Also, wanted to make it seem like a giant lantern. (I can only imagine what this would look like with some lighting effects!) I wanted to keep it from being too busy, in that the stained glass is pretty complex balance/detail-wise in itself .

LIGHT TEMPLE
Went really crazy on the mandalas here...
I like to think that the seals and crystals are to "lock down" whatever's inside the temple.

DARKNESS TEMPLE
Meant to be a dark reflection (no pun intended) of the light temple.
I didn't want this to come off as an "evil" temple, per say. Dark always equaling evil annoys me. Rather, it's...edgy. Aggressive.
(Personally, I would go here instead of the light temple.)
POISON TEMPLE
I had so much fun with this one! (The Woodfall Temple from Majora's Mask and various mardi gras imagery was a huge inspiration here.) I wanted to make it appear as though this temple rose from the swamp. (This is one of the temples I'd love to see the exterior in!)

METAL TEMPLE
I'm a mixed bag with this one in regards of my feeling for it; I liked how it turned out, but feels like something is missing. A lot of Asian inspiration with this one. I tried to imitate the terra cotta army with suits of armor and make the whole thing seem like a fortress.

What's more, here's the Asian arch for this temple, if you want to include it.

TIME TEMPLE
Bit of a snafu here folks! Also credit Yanfly with this temple, in that I used his hourglass icon in this temple! (You can still use this in commercial games!)
Anyway, I tried to make it look like a giant clockwork temple (would love to see the inside of it). Was also watching The Matrix...could you tell from the color scheme?
