I notice something that might get really annoying fast.

The char info is paced on the char pics(making it hard to see, as they bend into the char, not to mention, it looks sloppy). It would've been a better idea to scale the pics down so you can have room for the char info on the right/under each char pic.

Other then that, looks like it is a cool game.

It's true that the graphical style is not for everyone, but it's my style and I enjoyed it immensely. I made this game for myself; it was my dream, and I followed through with it. And I couldn't be more proud of the end result.


It's my hope that people will give the game a chance and tangibly sense the heart and soul I lavished upon it for nearly a third of my life. This is my story, my song. My word is my sword.


But even if not, I am proud of what I have accomplished even so, for its own sake, and what it all means to me. This game is me. It is my soul, and represents all that I love and cherish.

Congratulations! I will check out your trial when I have the time. I'm busy trying to fine tweak my features myself, lol. Also learning to paint tiles zzzz, not fun!

Although getting Steam to recognize it enough for green light is very good. I'm proud of the RM community :p

I'm in the middle of playing the demo now, It's pretty good so far, and I probally will end up buying the full version.

However with that said its not without its problems. there's the battle hud thing I mentioned earlier. Then there is no indication whatso ever, that a char leveled=wtf(you have to keep checking the menu, just to find out if you leveled or not). Even if it doesn't display the stat increases/new/skills in a special window when you lv, fine, but why is there no simple popup or whatnot, saying lv up, so atleast the player knows they gained a lv?

The last noteworthy problem I found, was why can't you run from Crystal Eaters? They push you back anyway, so It's not like you can cheat the system, all that not allowing running does, is force the player to reset the game from their last save. Not only is it annoying, but because it breaks momentum so much by effectively ending the game, if you are not yet strong enough to beat it, it will more then likely make the player want to stop playing for awhile.

This is actually fixed in the full version, but I never updated the trial, mainly because Amanda Fitch made modifications to it that I'm not sure how to replicate.

Really, haven't noticed it, guess I have to keep a closer eye on that part of the hud, when the battle ends.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
