Wow this is cool, I found a secret area, with a random encounter system setup, and only one monster type can be encountered there. Your version of metal slime type enemies huh(minus the high DEF aspect) ?
Damn, you have to kill then on turn 1 period or they "will" run.
How much HP do these suckers have anyway? I wonder what sweet rewards they give if you win(found a weakness, but don't want to spoil it, now if I can get lucky enough to kill one, however how much HP they have, It's a lot)?
Yea I think I'll have to come back lol, thanksIf you've just gotten there, you'll probably have to wait and come back later with more party members and better weapons. They have 3,000 HP. Once defeated, they drop items that can be traded for special potions in a certain town.
You'll get those eventually.Edit: Lol I swear I have never seen potion addicts as bad as the char in your game. Have any of the char ever hear of this amazing thing called a heal spell?
You'll get those eventually.
I don't know where you are, but the character Ezra learns healing magic eventually, as do a few others.
Oh Ezra learns them, thought he was a useless char, because he was turned into a kid, not to mention he Isn't a Rune holder as far as I know, not to mention I need to use Pica for every boss fight. What about the Princess, you know the water mage, does she learn any. Well sigh, looks like I might as well use the old man, seriously he's the only char I wasn't using lol
Haha, glad you enjoyed it. Being the first Elemental Guardian that you fight, I had to make sure the battle with Fafnir was a cut above all that came before.Edit: OMG, you're gonna get so much hate over the Fafnir fight, It's not funny, most end game bosses don't pose such a challenge(you have to go back to the good old NES, to find a challenge like that), but I love it. It took everything I had, but I beat it(oh sweet, Burning Beam, It's the most powerful spell out of all my char, a reward well worth the tribulations)![]()
IndeedGood to see people enjoying the game so![]()
I'm really, really happy that you liked it.A cut above you say, talk about a understatement, I'm just glad I found 10 Life Elixirs or even I wouldn't have wonEven so, that was a epically awesome battle, makes me wish I took a video of the battle. I love hard battles, especially when your rewarded properly for winning.
Ah, geez. It seems I forgot to include the "kiss" sound effect in the trial version. It'd be really nice if the engine just simply didn't play missing music/sound effects, instead of all-out crashing... Thanks for telling me about this.Edit: That's weird, the game just crashed, couldn't find ME error during battle, against Helspawn. I fought them before without crashing, so maybe it was gonna use a different skill, other then Ebrace or something..
I've heard delays mentioned before; I don't know why it is, but I'm sure it'll be fine.I just beat the demo(man that was a awesomely long demo), and bought the full version(why there's a delay for a digital order, that's being payed through Paypal, I have no idea).
YepI'm really, really happy that you liked it.

And thank you so, so much!!I wanted the demo to start from the beginning, but I also wanted it to include some of the game's unique features (Party Ball, Land Behemoth, etc.). And obtaining the Element of Fire seemed like a nice climax. The "meanwhile" scene after the Seaside Cave was created specifically with the trial version in mind (I figured it'd make for a good cliffhanger).
Did you not save after beating Fafnir? Also, you know you can transfer your save file to the full version, right?YepThe only thing is, now I have to do it again lol, it feels like I just beat Fafnir... wait a second, I did "just" beat him, well I hope I can pull it off again, with Pica surviving at the end, without too much of a hassle.
Yes I did, hm let me check that, I didn't even look into the system folder, to see if you can remove the save file from one, to move to another.Did you not save after beating Fafnir? Also, you know you can transfer your save file to the full version, right?
The process is largely dependent on what operating system you're using. I'll PM you, and we'll discuss it there.Yes I did, hm let me check that, I didn't even look into the system folder, to see if you can remove the save file from one, to move to another.
Edit: How can you transfer the save from the trial version to the full version(I don't see a save file at all)?
It depends on where you purchased the game from. I believe Solo has BMT processing his sales from the website, and they email you a download link after purchase, I believe.I just beat the demo(man that was a awesomely long demo), and bought the full version(why there's a delay for a digital order, that's being payed through Paypal, I have no idea).
I figured out why, they proc the orders manually, It's not automated, and I placed the order in the middle of the night, so had to wait for the work day to start. It depends on where you purchased the game from. Yeah, I guess it is an oversight, but the state will wear off during or after the next battle (or if you stay at an inn or recovery point). I don't see it as a major issue... kind of a nice little loophole for the player, actually!Found a minor bug(well a oversight anyway). You have a mimic in this game, who uses a Limbo type spell, which causes char to leave party. Well if you cast Shielding Crystal beforehand, and the mimic removes such a char from your party, after battle the removed char will still be under the effect of Shielding Crystal.
You should have that skill remove all positive effects, when it hits/succeeds in removing the char from battle.
Yea it does.Yeah, I guess it is an oversight, but the state will wear off during or after the next battle (or if you stay at an inn or recovery point). I don't see it as a major issue... kind of a nice little loophole for the player, actually!
But in all seriousness, thanks for reporting this.
Hmm... I haven't had any complaints about this so far (many people from Amaranth and Aldorlea have already played the game), and as far as I know, the timer stops when you're in battle (as it's based on an event's "Wait" counter and not an actual timer). But even if not, there's leeway for maybe one or two battles, especially if you run from them.Edit: There's a rather annoying/almost game breaking design flaw later on in the game involving 1 map+a timed event
where the mine map is, and you have to flip a switch, that triggers a timed event. It's one thing to expect people to dodge the enemies on the map, inorder to get there in time, but also having random encounters on this map, makes it near impossible to get there in time, so you may need to rove the random encounters on this map. I'm gonna plat test it more to see if It's really really possible to beat at all, which I think it maybe possible to beat, but "just barely", and only if you don't get unlucky
Oh ok, so I don't need to worry about fighting in battles at all then?Hmm...
