Good night,
1)As I understand it you must download and activate two plugins

  • AnimatedSVEnemies.js
  • BattleEngineCore.js

2)Pick up some image with battle scenes and put the folder sv_actors.

3)Create a new actor with the image name that was put in sv_actors and the battle image.

4)Create troops the same name as the picture sv_actors.

Totally wrong? Or is missing some detail?

Yanfly also has his own Sideview Animation plugin on his site yanfly.moe

Don't forget to put the image name of the enemy battlers on the notetags!

I believe he's using Rexals..

so....

Put this in the enemy notetags

SV Sprite: x

just change the x to which file name the enemy sprite should belong to.

that should work.

look for the sprite you would like to use, remember the file name and put it at the enemy note tags

for example: SV Sprite: actor1_3

Rexal's and Yanfly's have different ways to make the animation work

In Rexal's script, it should be

SV Sprite: SV_Irongiant

or when using Yanfly's, it should be

<Sideview Battler: SV_Irongiant>

unchanged ;_;
I personally tried it myself and I never had a hard time making the irongiant move. I was wondering if there are any other plugins that may cause the sprite's stasis..

I know this may sound silly, but.. have you saved the plug-in at the \js\plugins?

and the SV_Irongiant at the \img\sv_actors?

EDIT: Looks like I was a tad late, welp. good thing rexal's worked for you. :)

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
