RMMV Enemy Book

Heyho!
I know there are some Bestiary PlugIns out there, but I couldn't find one that covers everything I'd wish for yet.
To specify what I am looking for:

• Add enemies to the book via PlugIn command
• Hide certain enemies, so that they won't appear in the book at all
• The book should be accessible via PlugIn Command (don't need it to appear in the menu)
• Display an image of the enemy
• Include a text box with a description that ideally would support text codes
• Support different enemy categories

Optional features:

• Display elemental weaknesses
• Display skills
• Display Item drops

For those I would like an option to hide certain skills and (though that's not that important) weaknesses & items

I already found a plugin that does almost exactly what I want:

ScottyTVs Beast Book

The only thing I am missing here is the option of having different categories of enemies. This option however is included in ScottyTvs other Bestiary PlugIn, ScottyTVs Simple Beast Book.

I am not sure if there is a way to combine these features, since both PlugIns are from the same creator and one is basically I prior version of the other. Unfortunatley SkottyTv doesn't seem to be active anymore, or I would have asked directly.

Of course any other plugins would also do. Here are those I already checked out:

• Kadokawas Enemy Book
• Mr. Trivels Monsterbook
• Casper Gamings Encyclopedia & Bestiary

If I missed any plugins, if what I want is actually possible with those I listed here, or if someones knows how to combine the STV Plugins, I'd be very thankful for any help!

I do know, you can categories enemies in CGMV_Encyclopedia though,
but you must manually add this to the enemy book once found.

it can record skills of it I believe and weakness?
but does not show drops like STV one, which I love to see too.

STV require one or 2 YEPs plugins, but if the item drop is in CG Encyclopedia,
than you have pretty much coverd all.

I tried to figure out how to implement the drops in the encyclopedia though,
but I cannot figure out how though.

I dont know if there is any other monsterbook, but I can look around and report
if I found one that fits your needs

Would be great! I will look into CGMV_Encyclopedia again too.
STV requiring YEPs is not a problem at all.

I found an intresting thread, so I might to replicate it (but it takes ages for me)
which is also a neat way (category on top) found [here], problem is, there is
only 1 like, bu no responds, probably to much time to make that. but a nice idea,
I might have a way in mind, but I would fail on it.

Also I found one with item drops, adding, not sure if you can hide it though,
but might be possible to add it.

it's not english though, but different setup for the windows are easy to alter.

Triacontane glossary plugin is the best

@xabileug any idea how much work that is? while it is a nice plugin,
this require tongs of items on Hidden A or Hidden B if not changed.
manually tracking takes also time, but read the information is better.
when automatically readed from it.

AB_EnemyBook is a nice one, and has mostly in it, the only thing missing
that I realize is the category list.

but it really depends on how the window should look like, what information
it should give.

if items are hidden, it is possible to add them, but also require alot of work.

it depends what he likes and what he want to use it. that is his call.
but I dont think the glossary plugin can be of help here for a bestiary book.

@ShadowDragon Wow thank you for searhing them out. A pity that the first one didn't get finished, looks very promising. Make sure to tell me, if you ever decide to recreate it

AB_EnemyBook seems also cool. The main reason I was looking for something else than STV Beast Book is the categories, unfortunately, but will still make myself familiar with it. Same goes for Triacontane Glossary, I never heard of this one actually.

SceneGlossary is fully manually edits, as for the scene they never made,
I will try it, but it wont be an easy task for me.

A friend made one (not public), which has a similair look with categories.
it shows it first, than the list in the link they never made it, and when selecting,
all the information.

if you compleet that category, you get rewarded. (similair like an achievement
achievement system.

but I want it slightly different, catery list, left, or on top, select the enemy,
than show all data, but it wont be easy though, but if I manage something
as a basic start (window, category, basic info (no weakness/skill/drops)
than I can tell you or public, but the rest can be added later, but when, no idea.

I'm no expert yet or will be, but I do my best what I can
so don't keep your hopes high on my succeed because it can take months
or drop if failed

if you tried it, you will know, fully custom, easy to edit. widely used in japanese community
