Enemy Reinforcements MV Plugin Doesn't Work

I think name of the thread describes itself - Enemy Reinforcements MV Plugin Doesn't work
I put needed commands but when i test it troops does not appear at all.
$gameTroop.isTroopReinforcementAdded(13, true)
and
add_enemy_troop 13

Maybe i'm doing something wrong or maybe plugin doesn't work anymore? (I kinda doubt on second one)

Well it's been a while...
I didn't solve the mod's problem
Though, I made a system in game battle settings that at first minions are invisible, but as soon as summoner casts needed spell, minions would pop up. As they die, this exact same spell will revive them with full HP and without any debuffs (it won't heal them if they're alive), considering like they were summoned.
Well this has a limit of enemies to be summoned... but it worked for me as I wanted it to

you should link to the plugin so it was better to solve your issue.
or what you are missing, there might be some enemyReinforcement
plugins, but each works differently.

It is this one: https://himeworks.com/2015/11/enemy-reinforcements-mv/ Even disabling all of my plugins, the script command "$ gameTroop.isTroopReinforcementAdded (999, true)" does not working.
I presume that I have the latest version of MV, and that the script has not been updated since 2016, so is it no longer supported by a MV update?

it does work, but you need plugin commands instead of scriptcalls:

Plugin command: add_enemy_troop TROOP_ID


the scriptcall: $gameTroop.isEnemyReinforcementAdded(troopID, memberId, checkIsAlive)
are used in a conditional branch to see if they exist or not.

if not, add plugin command, if it does, it can do nothing.
it isn't used to call reinforcement though.

precisely, I use as follows:


Condition: End of turn, Span turn.

if $ gameTroop.isTroopReinforcementAdded (999, true)
{

} else {

add_enemy_troop 998

what if you put text in the "if met condition"

if: script: $gameTroop.isTroopReinforcementAdded (999, true)
text: what happend to the alive enemy?
else
add_enemy_troop 998
end

do you get the text first?
if the text shows up there, and it's dead, than I dont know,
but you can but true to false and see what happend than.

I use 1.6.1 as well, but didn't test it fully, some simple stuff only

No, nothing works.
Whatever I do, at the end of the turn or the start of the next, the troop appears.

that I cannot really help you if it's corrected setted up.
most of Himes plugins works, even when most is outdated.

I hope he/she can help you out, maybe it's because of the steam version you might use?

To put it simply, whatever happens, the script command is never taken into account.

than I don't know, it does add enemies, but if it should come AFTER they are defeated,
than something is wrong.

does the same happen if true = false?

or with $gameTroop.isEnemyReinforcement(2, true)? because I think Hime might be
the only one to help you out on this issue or someone that use it alot on this part.

but it is weird that it doesn't read the battle page though.

Looking back at some sketches, and game design documents on my PC dated summer of 2015.
