Hey guys... I have question. What is the max size for enemy sprites? As in the type that appears in front or side of during battles??? Like not the little battler kind??? The image kind???? I'm planning to make those and then crop them down to face image size afterwards for the face icons in on the sides.

I don't believe there is a maximum size- but if you make something bigger than your screen, it's a waste. Also, the larger you make the sprite, the more resource-intensive it is to use, and the harder it is to fit other things.

Rather than the maximum, you should think of how big you actually want your enemies to be, and use that size. Think about how many you can fit on the screen without looking ridiculous and/or crowded, etc.

Since MV uses 32bit nwjs, the theoretical max size of an image 16.7 million pixels x 16.7 million pixels. I guess that should be enough for whatever you want to do.

Basically that much pixel is soooo much you wont need to worry about it anyway... For example, a 1080p screen has a resolution of 1920x1080, compared to 16.7Million x 16.7Million, its still too small

I wouldn't recommend that large battlers anyway :D Because they would take up a lllllooooooot of space. In fact even 800x800 battlers are often quite enough (default screen of MV window is 826x624).

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
