Hi,

Trying to create a game that has a very large number of enemies. EnemyBook would be an essential, if not necessary tool for gameplay and player comfort/convenience.

Problem:
When plugin command [EnemyBook open] is executed, a blank screen appears with all the menus in the right place, but no enemies are listed. The entire index and description is blank and cannot be navigated, even though there is an autorun event that executes [EnemyBook complete], so logically the book should be full of enemies.

Solution steps:
  • I isolated the plugin away from all the other plugins I have installed in my game file into a seperate test area, gave everything the same parameters (autroun plugin command, etc.) and came back with the same result.
  • Searched this forum for all things related to EnemyBook, came across a supposed fix for people who were having the same problem, and replaced my version with the most recently made fix. Didn't work, repeated process with earlier fixes and same result every time.
  • Deleted file, re-copied the script from the original EnemyBook1.4a and came up with the same frustrating result.

Looking for insight, thank you.

(The attached photos are screenshots of: 1. The resulting empty menu and 2. The list of enemies in the same game.)

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
