Hey Source I have had you script in my project for a while now and it's worked fine until recently. I haven't changed any scripts or added any new ones. Now the enhanced camera won't pan on my maps as the character walks. It just stays still. How do I fix this? Do I need to script call the script to start it??

Hello! Does that happen when you start a new game or when you load a save file?

Try adding the following code in a Script command and show me a screenshot of what is printed to the console:

So I just wanted to say thanks for this script and ask a question.  Do you have a recommended speed for panning?  I start getting motion sick after a while and I usually spend hours at a time playing my stuff.

I think the right speed depends on each individual's personal taste and preferences. You might want to try smaller numbers for the deceleration effect first; 1 would be like default ( no deceleration), so the closer to 1, the weaker the deceleration effect strength. If you still get motion sick after trying various numbers, you could try setting the strength to 1 to remove it (it will act like default), and you would still be able to use Enhanced Camera's other features.

Not possible to do at this time. My development project file is huge as I have not worked on reducing the size any.

Okay, try creating a new project, adding Enhanced Camera and a map from your game. If it works, start adding scripts from your game, play-testing after each addition until you find one that breaks it. If the blank project with just Enhanced Camera and a map from your game doesn't work, it's likely an error in the calls/events handling the camera.

Let me know if you make any progress.

I am experiencing a strange phenomenon.

I have a cut scene which begins with the camera centred on a point other than the player.  After a little dialogue, the camera moves to different points to focus on bits of conversation going on in various groups.  The camera starts off in the correct place.  At the right moment it moves to the new second point, but then returns immediately to the first location.  There is some more dialogue and the camera moves correctly to the third location, but again immediately returns to the first.  Same process happens for the fourth location.  I have tried this both with the camera centred on a specific coordinate and on an event.

The script call I am using for a coordinate is:

ms_pro_cam_center_at(12, 15, 40)

ms_pro_cam_wait_for_scrolling

The script call for an event is:

ms_pro_cam_center_at_char(24, 40)

ms_pro_cam_wait_for_scrolling

I can see nothing wrong with my script calls, so can you suggest what might be causing this?

It makes no difference, but that doesn't surprise me, because as I said the cut scene begins with the camera centred on a point other than the player.  In fact, the camera is never centred on the player during this scene, as the player isn't supposed to be there.  This is a scene which happens 'elsewhere'.

Not sure if this is a known issue, but the game crashes with this error if I put "ms_pro_cam_focus_on" inside a move route. Otherwise it works fine if I use it on a regular script call.

EDIT: it also happens on a fresh game with this script as the only one running

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
