This will just be a place where I will be uploading random art pieces that I have made. :kaojoy:
Please keep in mind that the images may be big. Because of this I will put the images in spolier tags.

I will soon be making resources for people to use, right now I
am asking people on a different forum what characters they'd like =w=;;;

I made this short comic long ago. It was my first attempt at making one. I used Photoshop, Perhaps I may remake it again but with my new painting software clip studio paint.

That last image is really big. I really suggest you don't enlarge it.

I noticed a member named Kayzaman has been drawing people's profiles and I thought they looked really cool. This week I'm going to be a bit more free, so over the next few days I thought, why not do the same thing as a way to improve my speed in art with only 30-45 mins everyday. This way when I make resources in the future I can have a bit of practice at maintaining a deadline.

They're just going to be a bust portrait (I hope).

So on Sunday I will post @mlogan 10:00 PM ET
Monday @Verdelite 1:00 PM ET
Monday @Kyoku 1:00 PM ET
Monday @HexMozart88 1:00 PM ET

If possible leave feedback if you can when I post the image. Like what I could try to improve on with lighting, shading, proportions, etc. :kaopride:

@mlogan

I think I needed to add a bit more dark colors for shading to be honest. The eyes also didn't come out the way I had thought they would come out when I planned it in my head :kaocry:

Slight change of schedule. Something happened at my workplace yesterday that caused the store to close for today. So I started drawing the next set of members. I began around 4 in the morning. (Took some breaks in between each drawing.) I still kept each drawing at 2 hours max. The reason being that, had I followed my previous schedule it was 1 hour a day.

First up is @Verdelite
I think I really underestimated the complexity of Verdelite's hair style. It's definitely not possible for me to have been able to study it within a time limit of 2 hours lol. I did the best I could but I didn't nail it. I also think I gave him too much of a feminine look lol. I started getting in the drawing zone around the end of coloring the collar. :kaoblush:

Secondly @Kyoku
When drawing Kyoku i felt like drawing a different position instead of just drawing the profile pic. (Mainly because I love the profile pic in general). I was surprised how quick I made a draft. I was thinking about making her sit near a window sill but i wasn't sure I would make it in time. Good thing I decided to color it in because before I knew it, the time was sadly over. :kaocry:

and Lastly @HexMozart88
Funny thing is for some reason my brain blocked out the head band that Hex was wearing. Once I realized it I was already coloring in hair. By then I just decided to forget about it since I only had 10 minutes left. :kaoeh: If I had wanted to add it in I would have wanted the hair to look a bit more different. I don't think i did the the front part of her pattern design justice.

Anyway let me know what you guys think if you can. I'd love to hear some feedback if possible so that I can improve later on. I might have missed a few things as well.

Not bad. I like how you did the shawl and the ear. You even managed to make that skin tone look natural. The position is a little awkward (although I can't really blame you for that since I drew her awkwardly to begin with. XD) and her bangs are a little bit straighter (not really straight, but there's no part in the middle) As for the lack of the crown, that's fine. The crown is the main yandere feature (like Yuno's ax) and because she actually looks sane here, this could be how she looks before she goes insane. ^w^

I like it overall, if you want some suggestions, the most I can give is that I feel like the left leg is a bit awkward since in real life, it's pretty hard to do that with a straight leg and not be uncomfortable after a while. Of course, it probably is bent, but since the right leg blocks it it's kind of confusing. My suggestion would probably just be, move the left leg so it's just laying on the ground instead. Otherwise, try to make it more clear of how it's shaped to avoid confusion. Since it's impossible for the viewer to tell if it's bent or not, it kinda looks too short.
Anything else I could have a problem with is purely based on the style you prefer, so those aren't important.
I do like how the light looks, tho, I would've moved the sparkles under the color layer (although, I don't know how you actually made the image and layers, so ignore this) so it looks less flat. And if you didn't make a color layer like I'm imagining cuz, you can't read my mind and my picture's layers, so why do I even guess that, then it's a good idea to try and change the sparkle colors throughout, like a blend, so it fits with the light and shading and isn't just "there".
I like it tho! Better than what I could ever do!:kaoluv:

Ohhh I really like it :) I love the smug face :kaoluv: And don't worry about the hair, I think you did a better job than I did :D
Hmm, I'm not good at giving art feedback but if you want me to nitpick, the thing that stood out to me was the ear.
You might want to use a reference to make the shape more realistic.
Another thing that I noticed is the line weight. The variation in line thickness is kind of abrupt in some places and the lines are thin where they might look better when they're thick (f.e. at the chin). I think this is mostly due to your time constraits though... I'm impressed that you managed to draw this in 2 hours! :kaoswt:
I hope this was helpful to you! I'm not a great artist, so I had to stare at it for a while to find something to criticise :D

Also, imho your drawing looks more manly than mine :kaopride:

Thank you the three of you for your feedback :kaojoy:

I kind of agree in terms of positioning. I didn't say anything about it mainly because I wanted to see if you would point it out yourselves. Glad you spotted that too :kaoluv:. For @Kyoku and @HexMozart88 specifically it was a bit irresponsible of me to break out of the reference without using any reference online in order to help shape a proper position. This is mainly why the body looks a bit weird lol. Because everything for those two specifically was drawn at hand and just assumption of whether or not the anatomy can pass as ok. I did use a few lines to measure size of the body but it's still not as accurate.

Another thing that I noticed is the line weight. The variation in line thickness is kind of abrupt in some places and the lines are thin where they might look better when they're thick (f.e. at the chin).
@Verdelite I 100% Agree. Line weight is something I struggle with however since I am actually not sure how to properly add it. I wanted to add some line weight around the chin too! lol. The problem is because I didn't already evenly distribute it, it looked a bit weird XD. And if I stopped to redraw I would notice more errors and then time would be over :kaoeh:

Overall I think this was a success in terms of pointing out some of my flaws within my drawings. I do have the Clip files. So if you guys would like them I wouldn't mind sending them via through private message. ^_^ This way you can add or remove anything you please. Let me know :kaoluv:

For now I'm working on making sprites which is the biggest challenge I've ever faced. Those limited pixels and specific color can either make or break the image. It's really hard And OMG MV has over 50ish sprites!:kaodes:

Some characters that will be in the upcoming visual novel I will be working on with a female friend of mine once the engine comes out.

Had to screen shot the image as the orignal file was too big.

@HexMozart88 I think it's because I'm using the night version of the forum that makes your last part of the text invisible. It wasn't until I accidentally highlighted the message that I saw it lol.

The little boy is a vampire. Normally in stories vampires still get older after they meet certain years. For example 1 year for a human = 10 years for them, however, in our story, depending on the age you change in to a vampire, you will retain the appearance and body of that age. He happened to be very unlucky he was bitten young.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
