I looking for a plugin (or a way) which allows to equip certain items. Say we have no weapon, but we have and an artifact - an iron statue, for example, that we need to use later in the game. But, it's heavy and, if you like, you can use it as a weapon instead. Or maybe equip something else which is totally not meant to be used as a tool or an armor. So idea of the plugin - to keep certain items (or Key items) in their inventory categories, but to allow to equip them having certain traits, like it's a full set +10 Attack weapon, armor or accessory, etc


It's useful concept for humorous games, survival or horror games.

You want to create the item you are equipping as an item and weapon(same name and icon so you dont confuse players). Now you want to set it as consumable if it isnt alreayd, then you want to go to effects for the item and set a blank common event as the effect. Next go into the blank common event and set the commands to increase weapon version of item, and equip it. NExt you want to create an event that is set to parallel with the conditional branch party has (weapon name)(DO NOT CHECK INCLUDE EQUIPMENT) and in the branch you want to remove the weapon and add the item.


I am not good at explaining so if you need more explanation on a step just ask and ill try to help.

Ho, ho, ho and mwah, ha, ha. It appears that I will be getting a leg up on the inclusion of Krampus in the 2023 Game Jam. We arrived in Orlando, FL yesterday and my wife found a Krampus Festival for us to attend tonight! Maybe I will be going home with a Krampus!
