Equipment Type Issues?

Well, I have been messing around a little with my project and the thing is, that you can add countless of Equipment Types.
For example you create a Type such as ''Rings'' or ''Necklace''. So far so good.
But what if you would like to create something like a Professions Type? For Pickaxe, Axe, Fishing Rod?
It would look not as good when you see it under Items in the Armor section right?
And this is the problem I am having right now. Basically my Pickaxe is an Armor Type and not its own type.
And I also would not like it to be a Weapon Type either.
So would anybody know a solution for this little problem? Any plugin / plugin command perhaps?

And sorry in advance. I am usually not asking for any help, because usually you find everything online somewhere. But the closest thing I have found was a plugin by HimeWorks which is old, outdated and sadly not compatible with the yanfly plugins I am currently using.

I think you'll have to dig into the code in the Yanfly code as if I recall right that is something Yanfly added to their code, and is not part of the default engine. I could be wrong though, but you'd have to try to see what happens on a default project as well to be sure.

But I'd start by investigating the Yanfly code, or seeing if you can find another plug-in that will work for this.

Moved to JavaScript support as this will require looking at the code

If you're using Yanfly's Equipment plugin then you just need to do a few things. First, you will need to make the Equipment Types by going into the Type section of the Database and add the sections you want in the Equipment Type section. Let's say you make the 6th slot Pickaxe, 7th is Axe and 8th is Fishing Rod. Now go to the class section and put this in the notebox of the classes you are using: <Equip Slot: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8>

So now you're equipment screen should look like this:
Weapon
Shield
Head
Body
Accessory
Pickaxe
Axe
Fishing Rod

That's not exactly what I meant. Sorry let me try to explain it once more. I have a Equipment Type named ''Professions'' under this I want only Equipment Types like profession tools. upload_2019-1-14_4-2-37.png

The only place which allows me to do this though, is the Armors section as you can see on the screenshot.

In game it would look as followed:

So far so good right?

But if we now navigate to the Item > Armor tab, the issue is this:

So what I basically want is, that those things are either in the Weapons tab, in their own section OR completly hidden from the Armor, Weapon, Item or Quest Item tab.
While not losing the functionality of having the Tools under the professions tab within the Equip section.

Yes I am using Yanfly's Equip Core and EquipRequirements etc.

You can use Yanfly's Item Categories to give a new category to those items, however they'll still appear under "armors" too.

Just a side note on this: The Yanfly plugins do not affect this setting. I just tested it in a total blank project.
And it really works as intended as it is. I just would like a function / plugin to have the Tools not be under Armor section in the Item menu if possible. Again the HimeWorks plugin was close to what I wanted. But is outdated and not compatible, sadly. And as far as I know, Yanfly does not offer a plugin for a functionality like this.

So I guess I have to leave the Tools under the Armor section in the end. To me it is no issue, but the people who would play the game, might be surprised a little, haha.
Oh well!

I just tested it and it seems to really solve my issue. Thanks for your help guys! I appreciate it by a lot. @Uzuki and @TWings.

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
