This game looks fun! But I have a question---how would I put it in fullscreen, since ALT+ENTER is the command for this? Or will it be OK, so long as I fullscreen it before starting the game? (Like at the menu)

This game is not intended to be played in fullscreen. However, you could do that manually by pressing F1 when the game starts. Check the Launch in Fullscreen. Close the game, and re-open it.

Hey there. Just tried the game out and have some feedback.

Overall it's been very enjoyable so far. I'm about 1 hour into the game. Just searched through all of the First floor sections, beaten the guardian boss fight, and started exploring Second floor sections.

The intro was executed well and was nice to watch. I like how it introduces each character by telling us a bit about them and also having them comment to each other. It's a very nice touch and I could tell from then on that the game had a good attention to detail.

All the aspects of the game seem to work well together. The music is very pleasant to listen to and fits the fast-paced nature of battles, the character battlers are pretty awesome, and battle animations make each skill very satisfying to use. I've had great fun with the combat, even if at times some enemy troops did feel a bit repetitive.

I do wish the levelling was a bit faster and that I'd have more skills to use at the start. Lunar especially. Since his starting two skills were Heal and Spell Barrier, the only method of offence in the first dozen or so of battles I could do with him was normal attack. Maybe it's just down to player preference.

The dungeons were fine. Weren't anything extraordinary so far, but they weren't annoying either. Since enemy encounters were visible and would spawn more or less in random places, it was easy enough to explore around. Some parts did get a bit confusing where there were many turns, but overall it wasn't too bad and I managed to find my way around eventually. Oh and I like it how the gate statue can heal the party as well as selling stuff. Very helpful.

I am a tad confused by the magic reflection on those dark priests. At times they would reflect Lunar's magic back at him, but it often happens even if they have no barriers or helpful states. Do they just have a random % chance to reflect magic?

Oh and I also ran into a script error. Here's a screenshot:

It happened when I tried to look through Stella's skills menu. I checked it again and it happened on the same bit.

Other than that the game is really fun and I've been enjoying it. Attention to detail in it is very obvious and all fans of dungeons crawlers should try this. It's one of the few RM games I'd be interested to continue playing and get further. I hope there'll be more bosses and mini-bosses ahead.

Oh my... I missed one line and it messed up with everything ;_;

The error could easily fixed by replace the line 77 in said script with this following line (since it's not encrypted)

damage = damage.round(1).to_sDo I need to patch it?

Thanks for report though.

Some of encounters are "Anti-Lunar" and some of them are "Anti-Soleil". You couldnt attack all the enemies by using the same actor. Learn the enemy weakness. That could help you survive. However, since Stella is using the physical ranged (which is gun), she is on the safe spot compared to the other actors. But she is the weakest among the party.

Yes, they have a little chance to reflect magic. The cavefolks priest (the one that wield blue staff) could reflect magic by chance higher than the red one. It's the best attack them using physical attack while you could use Lunar to use magic barrier to protect / reflect their magic. It's unwise to use Lunar to attack them. You could use Lunar in better situation than this one in other encounter.

Other than that the game is really fun and I've been enjoying it. Attention to detail in it is very obvious and all fans of dungeons crawlers should try this. It's one of the few RM games I'd be interested to continue playing and get further. I hope there'll be more bosses and mini-bosses ahead.
There're hidden bosses and hidden accessories if you try to explore :D

Anyway, I'm glad to hear that you could enjoy my game. Thanks for playing.

No problem and thanks for the tips. :) In regard to the script crash, well, so long as I do not go into the 'Skills' menu, I do not get the crash, so it's fine, though it might be a good idea to patch it for future players.

I've just beaten the next floor's boss (Basilisk). Still really fun. Some of the dialogue is hilarious (like when they fall through a secret passage into a dark room).

Heya again. Yeah, I'm pretty lost. Just keep wandering in circles. Is there something I have to do? The hint at the start said the sky guardians will show the way or something. I assumed I have to follow the gargoyle statues, but still to no avail.

Gargoyle is not the guardian of the Sky. Follow the dragon statues.

If you found Dragon Statues, you're on the right path

If you found Gargoyles, then you're wrong

I've just fought the Twin Dragons boss and it was insane. Kept me on the edge of my seat and I had to really think about what I was doing. Managed to beat them in the end. Phew. That was a close one.

Heya. I've just beaten the final boss and completed the game. It was a blast and I've greatly enjoyed it. I hope you make a sequel, especially now that what happened at the end surely opens up room for one. Would be interesting to see what sort of dungeons are in the oblivion.

In case you want to see my final statistics:

Thanks for playing, and wow 4 hours of gameplay

And the last boss transformed into second form in the second turn. What have you done on him? XD

The sequel could be anything. It could be the dungeon within the oblivion, or they've thrown in another world, or they were trapped for many years, or .... *runs out of memory*

I will make the sequel if I already decided what is the best story for them.

Is 4 hours a long time? I guess I spent a lot of time exploring and getting into battles, and also that time when I was stuck on the 3rd floor for a bit.

Hmm, I can't quite remember what I did to the final boss to make him transform so fast. Does transformation happen when his HP drops below a certain %ge? I remember I used Soleil's team Atk buff in the first turn, so maybe that's why. It probably made all attacks during those two turns strong.

Personally, I finished the game in 2 hours + a little more minutes. And the game was not aimed to be a long game.

But dont worry, the one who write review in RMN played it in 7 hours.

He transformed when his HP falls into a certain percentage. Though, before he transformed, the summoned Skyward Wyvern should be able to take your time. Or maybe, you got two summoned enemies?

Yeah, he did two summons very quickly. He summoned a wyvern, and then next turn or so he summoned another enemy. At that point all 3 of them were hitting us (2 turns each if I remember), so I was almost dying, then I took out the wyvern and things got easier. It's a good thing that I bought a lot of items like elixirs and cure scrolls.

Yeah, the strategy should be spend your action point wisely and use defend if the action seems uneccessary. And sometimes deal huge damage to boss could put you in major disadvantage.

My personal strategy would be

Use Stella's flashbang when the boss summoned enemy. That way, you could kill the minion before it has a chance to attack.

It would take turn longer, but will be more saver. If you have disadvantage turn, use defend or heal yourself.

Yeah, I liked using Stella's flashbang on those last few boss fights. I used it during twin dragons fight too. It helped when I needed to heal and deal damage but not had enough actions available. Really like the character skills. There were some pretty awesome skill ideas there and I think I pretty much used every skill at some point.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
