Error: Maximum call stack size exceeded (involves SumRndmDde Game Upgrade)

I know this question has been asked before but I haven't found an answer that suits my case. I started using SumRndmDde's Game Upgrade plugin. The phrase "reconstructing the game" scared me but I tried it anyway because it was necessary for a different plugin. I guess I had a right to be scared because it seems to have Fouled UBAR my game. I load a save. I transfer to a map. I get the error shown in the title.
Now, I've read that it has something to do with incompatibility with SRD's Super Tools Engine, so I deleted it and its child plugins. I still got the error. I opened up the console log and got the image I'm attaching, which doesn't seem to be connected to the Game Upgrade or Super Tools Engine at all! Another post I read suggested replacing my Package.json file with a fresh one from a new project, so I did that, but the dang Game Upgrade edits it again on startup!

What in the world is happening here? Am I using too many plugins? If you answer me, please keep in mind I know nothing about coding so I try not to mess with my game's main JS files. If I need to change Package.json, could you please give me exact instructions on what to change? I mean, like the "For Dummies" version :)

Oh, and apparently SRD hasn't been responding to people for a while. That's why I'm coming here and not contacting him. I figure I won't waste my time.

I've tried to giev as much pertinent info and yet be as clear as I possibly can. If anyone can make sense of this, please give me a hand...

Well, it seems a conflict with all those plugins.
But it is hard to say which one conflicts.
You have to turn all of them off. Then Turn one on and test the game.
And repeat the process until you find the error.

Just a curious question... Does this error happen on every map?

Also, Srd dropped the support for his plugins. And I strongly advise you to avoid it as much as you can if you use the 1.6.2 version of mv.
I think most of his plugins are made for 1.5.1 version of mv...

Thanks for your quick response! I did a little more research and it seems most of SRD's plugins cause problems with MV above 1.5.1, plus I hear this particular one eats all your RAM in some cases. Guess I'll have to stop using it. I wanted it because it was necessarry to use SRD's Preloader. I'll have to find another plugin that does the same thing.

If you want a preloader, try Chaucer_SceneStabilizer.

does the same happen when you start a new game instead of loading a save?

You need to keep in mind that in 90% of all cases, adding or removing a plugin (or activating or deactivatin it) will require a new game because it will make previous saves incompatible.
That is because most of the plugins store their own data into the saves...

If you want a preloader, try Chaucer_SceneStabilizer.
That one only does images on loading the map. I was hoping for one that preloads audio to prevent audio lag. I have some scenes where dialogue/movement is synched to the BGM and having it start late understandably proves problematic. I've tried Irina's Anti-Audio Delay, but it caused a weird glitch where one event's BGM just refuses to play. Won't get into that here because it's outside the scope of this thread, but do you (or anyone else for that matter) have any other suggestions?

Well, that one works for me to prevent the audio lag too. Because it preloads all things on the map before the map is started.
I never used others besides those two.
But there is one that is paid in itch io( $5 I think: Kaliya preload everything) But I never used, don't know if it will work.

Just in case you guys did not find the answer, you can go to the plugin you load later (it should be GameUpgrade) and comment out this block in javascript:

This fixes the stack exceed issue OP mentioned, however the Preloader still doesn't work. I have 0 knowledge of Javascript but commenting out only this line:

also fixed the initial issue. Which means that this is the source of it.
The game does run now (I'm also on 1.5.1) but there's no preloading and caching going on.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
