Whenever I finally get the script to properly run, THIS happens:

Can anyone help me with it / guide me though it? I frankly have no idea what I'm doing wrong or which scripts could intervene with it :/

 I wouldn't know what I'm doing wrong D:

def command_355

    script = @list[@index].parameters[0] + "\n"

    while next_event_code == 655

      @index += 1

      script += @list[@index].parameters[0] + "\n"

    end

    eval(script) <-- Line 1411

  end

end

I've moved this thread to script support. Please be sure to post your threads in the correct forum next time. Thank you.

In your script, can you add this line?

def command_355 script = @list[@index].parameters[0] + "\n" while next_event_code == 655 @index += 1 script += @list[@index].parameters[0] + "\n" endp script <== ADD THIS LINE eval(script) <-- Line 1411 endend That method is the eval_script that is called whenever you put a Script event command in your game. The problem is not with the method itself - it's with the script that you put in. Add the line above and play the game with the console turned on. Then give us a screenshot of the console.Also give us a screenshot of the event where you do the Script command, so we can see what you're passing in.

From a quick glance at the error, it seems like you're trying to execute a command called fog and it can't find it, which tells me that the script may not have been inserted correctly into your game, or you're not calling it correctly.

Also provide a link to the original location of the script, so we can see what it's expecting the command to be.

$fog.show

not

fog.show

Then you can take that line out of the script again.

Did I really make such a small mistake..? *Facepalms*

Thanks a lot for helping Shaz.

Oh actually, wait, do you perhaps know why my Clouds picture isn't exactly showing? I don't see anything concerning clouds, sadly.

opacity = 40 is VERY transparent. Change it to 200 to see if it shows, and if it does, just adjust the figure a little until it's at the level you want.

Tried 220 and it doesn't show up.. Gah :/

Maybe it's somewhere in the directory or file name? The picture name is "Clouds" and in the Graphics/Pictures directory..

Here's the piece of code that regulates it:

Code:
#==================================================================    # ** MULTIPLE FOG SETUP ** SETTINGS    #--------------------------------------------------------------    @fog_path = 'Graphics/Pictures/'    # Fog image's path    @fog_reset = false # (true or false)    # Automatically clear all multiple fogs when transfer player    #==================================================================

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
