Escape Castle Death Loop
What is Escape Castle Death Loop?
Hold on to your butts we're about to get real up in this thread. Escape Castle Death Loop is a 2D RPG video game for Windows PC. Of course you already knew that so here is some more info for you junkies out there. But first dim down the lights, pull up a chair, and let's get real cozy. In Escape Castle Death Loop you play as a optimistic young adventurer type fresh out of the academy. It's your time baby, show the world what you got you adventurer you. The real worlds tough though my reader friends and your poor bright eyed adventurer finds themselves in a world of trouble. Death means nothing anymore as you find yourself constantly brought back to the very start of your adventure. How do you break this cycle? How can you Escape Castle Death Loop?!
The origin of the project is quite simple. I created a castle for my son Benjamin to play around with. Then I added a werewolf (which he thought was hilarious), a faulty bridge (equally hilarious), a gardener, a librarian, a king, and then it sort of cascaded from there. 100+ hours of work, 250+ events, 70+ switches, and 35 characters later we have the Escape Castle Death Loop experience. A fully functional gaming adventure with 1 hour of unique gameplay.
The game is complete but before releasing it commercially I thought it would be a neat project to run a marketing campaign for. It has been a labour of love and I hope you enjoy it as much as I've enjoyed making it. Check out the games landing page: https://tmbellissimo.wixsite.com/castledeathloop and sign up to receive a free Escape Castle Death Loop desktop wallpaper and get updates when Escape Castle Death Loop releases. Also check the landing page regularly for more updates to the page and the upcoming campaign. Look for Escape Castle Death Loop September 1st, 2019.
Damn, what a hype man I am. Can you readers not feel that.
I should also note I used stock assets and music for this project. Why? Well, because it's my damn project and I like them.
