So I wan't to start the player off weak. Able to fight enemies that are somewhat the same level. But for some reason, I see an uneven like system where the player is able to give one hit kills to certain enemies with no weapons. I'm new to the whole class stat thing. So, is there a way to fix it or even it out to make the game fair?

You have to set the stats and damage formula yourself to make it do what you want. By default, the formula is 4 * a.atk - 2 * b.def, which means 4 * attackers attack - 2 * defenders DEF. If you are new, I'd recommend leaving it alone for now and setting up your stats for the player and enemy appropriately based on that.

Actually, please be honest, so I might be able to provide some help, are you new to RPG Maker VX Ace?
What I mean is, do you know everything about Eventing AND the Database?
