Event Image Size too big for the grid

So I want to add an animated claw machine to the map, but the original sprite sheet has the machine split into different parts/frames.

How do I add the whole image when I can only select part of the image/frame?

I can see people are using it fine on another version rather than MV.

What is supposed to look like:

You simply make the image bigger. The engine cuts up the img into equal sections regardless of size.

Thanks, but I just rephrased my question. The problem is I can only select part of the frame/image on the original sprite.

You need to EDIT the img so the canvas is bigger, it will look like there is white space, but that's fine/normal. Send me the img, I'll do it for you, cuz I suck at explaining things. What you want is for a single event to have the pic of the entire machine/table right? But from the looks of the sprite sheet, it was meant to be used as 2 events, left/right half for each.

Edit: I see the issue, the sprite is designed for 32x32 but MV uses 48x48, that's y u have a gap in the middle. It's an easy fix w/ an img editor tho.

Thanks bro, it worked! Fixed it by x1.5 the original image.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
