I have 3 events in place, I want the first event to always be on top, the second event on the other hand walks under the first event and walks over the third event, then the third event is just underneath the first two event.

To explain it simply; I want an event to be sandwiched between two events.

It sounds easy to make but I'm having trouble figuring out how event position priorities work, so I would like some help making this event possible and/or explain how event position priorities work.

    Here's me doing a test: link~
    It works perfectly.

Here's the scene in which I'm supposed to put it in: link~
    It doesn't work properly.

    Here are the event priorities:
The truck: Through, & Always on Top
The truck's backdoor: (a normal event)
    NPC: Through

Help would be appreciated thank you.

I dont realy understand the problem, but maybe some guessing helps... =)
If Events are on the same maptile and on the same Layer, like for example "Same as Char", than Events with higher Event Id will be drawn ontop of Events with lower Event Id.
Through is only for passability, not for drawing layer (z-layer).

Events that use Maptiles as graphics and set to below char, are using passability settings of the tilesettile from database.

Events on "Same as Char" should display correctly, make them through, so the event can walk over them.

Edit: Ah this is rmXP, i didnt use that one, and it got other mapping system in comparsion to the vx/mv series, so not sure.

Event sprites are rendered in order of their ID. Thus, assuming all events are on the same layer, ID 1 will always be lower than the other events. ID 2 will only be over ID 1, and so forth.

There is a script where you can put a z-level adjustment to the event via a script call or comment. Don't remember where.

Your game seems to be using Pokémon Essentials, which was taken down by Nintendo for copyright infringement. It also contained ripped resources.

As we do not support rips on this forum, I'm closing this topic.
