Hello! I really need help TT
I'm quite new to RPG maker, but thanks to all the tutorials i've found here I kinda understand it better. But I'm unable to find this particular thing? Sorry if it really was asked before.
Here's whats up: There are two dudes. One tells me important info, second one confirms it. But before I speak to the first guy, the second one needs to act normal? So the option to "confirm info" needs to appear only after I talk to the first guy?
I hope I explained correctly. ТТ
How do I do it? It has something to do with switches, right?,,

thanks in advance <)

Yes, it does. I would rather use a variable if you have more than just a few things to confirm, but the idea is the same.

The guy who has to confirm things should have a conditional branch in its contents and the said branch should use the variable/switch as a condition. This way only the part related to a certain switch of variable value is executed when talking to him (which includes acting normally when no switch is activated or the variable value is 0).

On the other hand, the guy who gives you information has to trigger a switch or change the variable value according to the information given so that the value matches that of the contents in the other guy event.

Thank you! I think I get it! :D

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
