Im trying to set up an event to were when the player starts to leave town it activates another event making someone walk into the map, then walk to you and talk to you before you leave. heres what i did
Event 1(leaving town) :
Page 1:I placed Switch A and tried setting it as same as player with player touch settings i then set Self Switch A
Page 2: turned on self switch A and set as below player to make hidden after switch was turned on.
Event 2(Map entry):
Page 1: I placed below player with no graphic and did a conditional branch, if switch A is on Set control switch A on
page 2: I turned on Control switch A and set a character graphic, set it to Same as player and parallel process, i then set event to move route and talk to player. then set Self switch B
page 3: Turned on Self switch B and deleted graphic and set below player. to hide graphic after event was finished
After doing this. nothing happend.. i know im probly missing something simple and easy to fix.. but its driving me nuts n im probably just over thinking it any help would be appreciated
